ARS is only about a 2 hour drive from my home. Definitely going to be picking up some racks over the next couple years! Love their stuff. They make pretty nice display cases as well

We run 100% ARS racks here...love them! The information about the UK standards for heat tape is on point...something for the US rack manufacturers to take note of!

One thing you've mentioned in your video on this specific model is that you will keep breeder males and holdbacks in it. That's all I wanted yo hear and understand about the size of these tubs! I love the ARS finish on their racks as well and will be upgrading to one soon. As for the encased heating element....it would have been nice to see what you use in the UK as in the US, although not restrictive, we do finish the electrical end off with an encasement. At least I do...

Does this mean you are ditching those expensive PVC racks that were featured in a previous video ? The issue with the electrics is not just related to the lack of a CE mark. Electrical products in the US run on 110v, and as such the heat tape will have a resistance to produce the desired wattage. For the UK voltage of 240v running a mat designed for US voltage could be an issue, although I would have thought that any company exporting a rack like this would supply the mats designed for the voltage the goods are being exported to.

No, I will be running the pvc racks for my females 😉👍🏼 as they are spot on....... as I said in the video, myself and others in the uk don't have a problem but as I said it's something that people in the UK need to be mindful of...... Maybe you should show your concern to Brian over at ARS...... Also if the mats/heat type wasn't up to the job then I'm pretty sure that the moment I plugged it in, the 240v would of fried the mats/heat type. Thanks for sharing
