I'm super new to art....any and all art! I decided to try paint markers and picked this set. What paper do you suggest, I haven't a clue. This was a good and thorough vid on these. Thank you

@@KathyTincler welcome to the art world!! I noticed these markers work well with a lot of papers! However, I think a mixed media sketchbook would do them justice, because the markers would have some toothed surface to grip on to! Some great beginner mixed media sketchbooks would be from the brands Canson and Strathmore! Both great in price and quality! Hope that helps! 💖

Have you ever tried the archer and olive acrylic markers? They're closer go posca's in form, but bullet journal youtube loves them a lot more.

what would be your opinion on the 60A colors vs 60B?

hello!! I personally like colors that are more saturated! So I would prefer more of a set A. The anime set B is nice but these are colors I don’t gravitate towards because they are more pastely and I like using bolder colors. It’s all up to preference at the end of the day! Regardless I still use these markers, I just like colors that are really “in your face”!

@@Wardrawsalot oo alright thank you for the answer!! how is the set A in terms of skin tones tho? I know I get really frustrated with base marker packs usually bc there isn't enough variation there usually :') but arghhh i do love neon colors at the same time and they're only in the A

@@nan032 although I don’t have both sets, from a bunch of videos I watched I can tell they both have the roughly the same amount of skin tones! Both sets don’t have a lot of variety when it comes to skin tones (they really only come with about 6 workable skin tones) but I did notice when using this anime set, the undertones in the skin tone ink aren’t my favorite, they don’t look lively enough. The tones in set A look richer in general, plus they come with metallics which I would use cause I like metallic ink! The anime set has no metallics though, so there’s that :)
