It's a good thing you didn't say inches or someone might have gotten confused!😀lol. I think this has the best paint out of all of them. The Freewing is the only one that has TV(as an option it's my preference as far as model accuracy). FW would sell more with this paint. Love the Arrows as well. Nice set up you have on it. Love the channel. In my opinion that is definitely an over kill on the landing gear. I added a 1/4 spacer on the ground gear and it takes off flies and lands amazing off grass and hard surfaces. No need to do all that cutting and extra work.

I can now control the rotation much better. We went from nearly 0° to a 2.8° deck angle. The rotation and touch and go performance are now superior to what it was before.

@@RCINFORMER yeah from out of the box it definitely needed some help for sure but with just adding the spacer I found it to be 100 times better so I personally don't want to do anything more at this point. I'm sure the mods you did to it makes a huge difference for sure. I just haven't gone that far because I don't feel I need to on mine. I definitely appreciate all you do and look forward to the next videos. Thank you

Rich, awesome job on all your videos. Like I said, giant B25 is my favorite...but I went with the Mig 29. My receiver is not powering up. I hear the beaps on the plane but no joy for the receiver. Checked all my connections and they are good. I know my receiver is good as I checked it on my Apprentice. No light on for my receiver in the Mig. The light is on, on the pc board for the nav lights. Interesting. On my apprentice, I'm getting voltage across the red and brown wire to the receiver(middle and outside) but on my Mig, the voltage is across the orange/yellow and the brown wire to the receiver(outside and outside).

The black and white leads from the esc are on the outside and outside of the 3 pin connector.

Good fix, needs it. You do the spacer inside as well?

Where did you put it? It does not seem to need anything else, this was easiest without needing to disassemble anything or do something irreversible. We calculated that we went from nearly 0° to a 2.8° deck angle.....

RCINFORMER I put it in with the spring. One screw gets the collar scissor piston fork and wheel off which exposed the spring chamber. With what you did I’m sure you don’t need it now. My mod is down and dirty gets it done. Factory should at least do your front gear mod and spacer if they don’t want to shave the wheel wells. Good stuff!

I agree with pilot Ryan that's just way more then necessary. 1/4 spacer and not cutting and shaving and this jet takes off and lands awesome. With that said I love what you guys do a d appreciate it as well.

So you did the gear mod prior to your maiden? I kind of wish you would have flown it before you did that. You must have had some serious reservations about the deck angle. Nice model.

The mod is not necessary, it improves the takeoff performance. I had seen others have problems rotating. If you just use flaps for takeoff, it will rotate. My mod makes it rotate much smother & in a much shorter distance.

So what your saying is that the plane s landing gear was not made correctly. Hopefully the manufacturer will take notice and fix the issue.

Correct... However, it is an excellent model & my gear adjustment is an easy improvement that makes the model takeoff effortlessly!

Rich I've been flying fms 1700mm super cub and want start flying fms pitts V2 to learn acrobatics. I think be so nice to have red smoke system trailing do you know how and what company do it

Hi can i know the weight of your 6s 3200mah? Im using 6s 3300mah and the weight is 436g when i put at the same location like in the vid, it seems tail heavy. Havent fly this yet

Always check the video description as i always put links to those things in the description- according to the video description the Lipo I used that size was this one: bit.ly/2CuocrL you should find all the dimensions and weight of the battery listed under that link, from memory about 480 g I think but make sure you check👍
