And at last the maiden/review and a VERY windy maiden/review at that of the Arrows Bae Hawk 50mm. The maiden went well despite the horrific wind. The Arrows Bae Hawk 50mm took the wind in stride! In the way of a review i believe the arrows Bae Hawk 50mm is a very stable and fun little EDF park flyer!

I love my little BAe Hawk too. A touch of forward CG with a 3S 1550, plus underhand toss in the stability mode (SAFE) works great for me!

Sounds like a good combo.
T Bae Hawk flies great on a 2200mAh positioned further back and you can get a good 5 mins of mixed throttle. Thanks for the great videos FG and your camera lady.

Nice Maiden, I have that model it flies even better on 4s, i use a 1500mah. On 4s it can just about handle anything, even flew once under mild typhoon conditions. Great model considering its just a 50mm edf.

Got my question answered regarding which 50mm EDF is your favorite. Question, does the 50mm BaE Hawk have fake air scoops behind the canopy on the top of the fuselage?

Yes they are fake. And it is a dead heat between the Viper and the BAE Hawk.
Probably, if I'd have this model, I'd launch it by the left hand, holding my right hand on controls uninterruptedly (mode 4), to "catch" the model immediately after start.

Hello FGFRC, Hope you and your wonderful camera lady are doing well. I meant to comment on your opening of the videos the last time I checked in, they look fantastic! A long way from the old garage days openings. I’m the guy who flew my first maiden, maiden flight. Well I can tell all your viewers it’s a lot easier to fly these babies, then to land them. Just wanted to check in and say keep um coming with the great videos.
