Salutations Me and Your Shadow, What an excellent documentary! About that second tooth....maybe that is a peccary tooth, an ice age pig or boar....a friend found one here in central Indiana over a decade ago, I searched some books on dentation and found the source, just look up what I mentioned and see. And again, excellent episode my friend....I would love to scour that place, so many fossils and artfacts, I am not envious or jealous, just seeking that type of fun....because you sure sounded like you was having fun! Great day for you! Cheers and Blessings sent!

I think you're on the right track with the peccary tooth. One of the old-timers I run into on the river sometimes saw it the day I found it and his first guess was peccary as well. He's hunted this river for 40+ years so I think that's a pretty good qualifier to backup your theory. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the backup info on the tooth, ECL. I sure wish it were a bear tooth but by what you and many others are telling me, it's def pig-related. Nice to hear it from someone that personally did research on the exact same thing. I think the marble is river clay for sure. Did the indians make it though? Not sure. I bet people already think guys like us are crazy when they see us walking around like zombies in creeks and fields staring at the ground... and then you add talking to ourselves and they probably avoid us like the plague. 😂 great defense strategy honestly
