I love Sara and I really like Caity Lotz, but her talent as a martial artist was seriously underused....come on, someone who trained with the League for 5 years needs that long to take down one nameless henchman? also, Sara was probably one of the most badass characters in the whole show, and she has to go out like that? I was really disappointed...:(

I agree. Her talents were very underused. Even when it came to her stunts. She could have done so many different moves but they prob didn't want her to outshine the arrow. Caity Lotz can do all her stunts and they should have used her talents in this show. Like in the fight with huntress. That was such a lame ass underwhelming fight for 2 bad ass super heroines.

The music is so heart breaking! But seriously the writers didn't have to kill off Sara. She was fine just leaving Laurel the jacket and going to have a life with Nyssa. Laurel didn't need a huge death to trigger a heroin complex. Just ugh! And can I just say: Sara: We're not out masks, and we need people in our lives that don't wear one. Its like *knew*!!! I wonder if Dig like gave her a heads up or something about Olicity date!

When Sarah fell, the show fell with her

laurel holding sara's body sobbing gets me every time :'(

I think the majority of fans have definitely been upset by this stupid mistake. Sara was the perfect Canary, and even if they wanted to change it to Laurel, they didn't have to kill off the character. Sara shouldn't have been killed off. I know they already have a new costume and Laurel being Black Canary is confirmed, but a small part of me always wishes they somehow bring Sara back via the Lazarus pit or something. Cmon, developers, bring her back! Meh, either way, I hope the finale is big, like season 2. In the upcoming crossover with The Flash, I heard there's apparently a big reveal for Oliver. In the episode after that, "The Climb," Sara's killer will be revealed and Oliver will confront Ra's al Ghul. Can't wait to see how that all plays out. But I think we all know at this point Ra's al Ghul was most likely responsible for her death. It is like the show to do the unpredictable, but they already did that with Roy. There doesn't seem to be any other character proficient with a bow that Sara knew. Clearly it's not anyone on Team Arrow. It's not Nyssa. It's either Ra's himself or another member of the League that he sent. Or perhaps it is somehow related to the flashbacks and Katana. But Sara doesn't know her so that's out of question. So, unless it's a new character who hasn't been introduced, it's most likely Ra's al Ghul.

I realize this wasn't final but that was an amazing goodbye between Sara and Laurel! If Sara hadn't had been brought back at least they were on good terms and the last words they said were "always trying to save the world" and "love you". Most people don't even get that...

After Sara died, I almost quit the show. I had to force myself to finish season 3, just so that I can get to her resurrection in season 4.

Sara was a cute Canary,she was loved by so many,i loved her too! Wished she could stay but i even knew she was going to go from the start. That is why i never took to her seriously even thou i loved her. Laural is the Black Canary a lot of people watching fail to understand the path shes on. Its a shame really,they need to re watch and learn about the smaller details. When they sound of on their confusion,they don't realize how silly they really are till they re watch and learn about the show.

She literally ran away, fucked Oliver knowing her sister liked him, let her family think she was dead for years while visiting the city, betrayed Oliver on the island for a guy she knew for a year, almost got Oliver killed several times, and put her mother in danger and attempted to kill herself.

When Sara died,I cried..when laurel died..I was shocked and they never brought her back 😭😭😭

What will happen after Nyssa finds out about her death. Cannot believe she died. R.I.P. Ta-er al-Sahfer, The Canary, Sara Lance. Can't wait until her killer is caught, killed. But she shall not be forgotten for Diggle has named his daughter Sara. Plus SPOILER ALERT!, Laurel did everything to catch, kill their suspect at who killed Sara but he wasn't, so it sucks.

To be honest, Laurel's haters seem to be a lot more obnoxious than she has ever been. You seem to be a lot more obsessed with her than her fans are. And who says boxing with Ted Grant will be the only thing she does? I wouldn't be surprised if she decides to join the League of Assassins too in order to see first hand what Sara's been through or try to find out about the killer from inside. That's the thing about whiners, they lack any and all objectivity or perspective whatsoever.

Besides Laurel after her whole hating the vigilante thing in Season 1+2 is just adding hypocrisy to her traits if she follows in Sara's footsteps. I get why they killed Sara but in all honesty Black Canary is meant to be a top top fighter and Laurel by all rights shouldn't be able to hold a candle to these guys unless she takes like a 5-yr hiatus

sreddi83 There is no hypocrisy. She didn't hate vigilantes in S1since she was working with the Arrow, and she only hated them in S2 because of Tommy. After she learned the truth about Ollie, it made perfect sense to change her standing. And I don't think she needs 5 years to be a formidable fighter. She is not supposed to turn into some killing machine, why show you the same thing twice? They need contrast between her and Sara, otherwise people will complain they do the same thing with Laurel that they did with Sara. As if these people do something else than complain about anything Laurel does anyway. It's getting old.

Have you read the original comics? If you did, you would realize that anyone called "Black Canary" NEEDS to be a "killing machine". Dinah Lance is one of the greatest hand-to-hand combatants and assassins in the DCU. She can hold her own against freaking BATMAN if she has to. She's not some random do-gooder who slapped on a costume. She spent years training. She sold her soul to be the best and has since spent years as a hero to redeem herself. Sara epitomized all that. She was straight out of the pages of Gail Simone's Birds of Prey series. The idea that Laurel deserves to be Black Canary is LAUGHABLE. A joke. I don't know. I am going to give this a shot, but the writers better be quick in convincing me that Laurel is worth my time. I do not have the patience for Lana Lang 2.0.

That she is allways in some love triangle.. Oliver did just fine without a IT girl in the first season. The writters gave her the role. She is there just for the romances. Batman did just fine before barbara came. And falicity and Oliver don't evan have a relationship in the comics. The CW have love triangles in all of thire shows.

The fuck was this? This show has gone to absolute crap after season 2. She died almost instantaneously, almost like her contract for the Arrow series was going to be expired so they had to find a convenient way to sign her off. Like seriously, Oliver doesn't even bat an eye! Also, at 4:13, she clearly lands on her front, but at 4:16, she's suddenly on her back?

+░KenLinx░ It was sucky to lose her because she was a great character and defined a lot of the show but her death made perfect sense. It created the conflict between the league and team arrow, gave nyssa a lot of really great scenes and depth, and was the reason why Laurel became the Black Canary. She also had kind of done everything she needed to, her relationship with Oliver was over, the slade arch had ended, and the show was ready to move into the LoA conflict, which pretty much meant she had to die.

It felt so awkward and forced, they spent like half a season with the different characters coping with Sara's death, and when she came back she literally got one scene with Laurel and Quentin and that was it. Nothing with Felicity, nothing with Oliver, nothing even with Nyssa, who probably had at least 10 scenes grieving Sara. It was just so poorly done to make such a huge move like that right in the middle of an existing plot because they couldn't give the focus to Sara's return that it needed to work.

@@BarryM83 that shot threw him off a cliff until Felicity came in rescuing him

It'd be better if Tommy was put in the Lazarus pit by malcolm, which healed him but also made him crazy. Then, his initiation, his first kill, would be sara. After that, malcolm gives him the hood to be the next dark archer.

Sara Lance was the best Black Canary, they should have never killed her

After watching the 8th episode of the 3rd season of Flash i think Sara got what she deserved even though this episode was released 2 years before

She comes back as white canary

I hope season 8 is not the last of arrow. I hope arrow make it to season 13 also hope it get the attention. It deserve
