Matt Kroon No, that was on ep 1.03. And they never prepared a relationship between Oliver and Laurel since they were already together before Oliver left with Sara. Showing that he agreed to move foward with Laurel then he went away with her sister wasn't a set up of a relationship with Laurel. They showed that he was cheating on Laurel with Sara and other girls (he got one of them pregnant) before he went away. It wasn't really a set up of a relationship with Laurel. They showed how Oliver was a jerk with women before leaving with Sara and after. And how he changed gradually.

@@jujumpe7374 yeah but the whole season 1 was Oliver not be able to forget/not be in love with Laurel and showing us that she was the one that was giving him strength....and at the end of the season they got together.....and then suddenly he was just over her?! It was bad writing....and yes the writers screwed up a lot.....and eventually made the stupidest mistake of all time by killing her......

Well if Oliver didn't want to leave, he could have said to Felicity... give me a few minutes and I'll meet you down stairs, but that's not what happen and Laurel is snippy with my girl, and Felicity is just to sweet, doesn't know a mean girl when she runs into one.

Laurel has a law degree and has demonstrated her detective insticts several times (like how she figured her mom saw Sara before she went on the gambit), but she doesn't question why a random girl setting up Oliver's router not only knows her name but refers to her as " *that* Laurel"

I prefer to call this clip: Felicity takes Oliver away from Laurel. ha ha.
