For the price it was the best buggy for my Grandson. Easy to upgrade and it's an Arrma so I know it should last a while and will be super easy to repair if he crashes it. His is the same but was a few dollars more but had a charger and NiMH. Thanks for sharing this great buggy. 👍👍

Hey. Nice video, as always. As for the car, I have Arrma Senton Mega 550 converted into a little monster truck. The stock brushed motor is good for beginners. Stock SLT radio is way worse than any Radiolink radio. In general, this platform rocks for its price.

I started off with the vorteks boost. Great little RC to learn on. However upgrading it costs much more than picking up the 3s. I’m full upgraded to the 3s with a dumbo rc remote and receiver gyro combo and this truck is a monster. Gives my friends maxx a run for its money. Vorteks is good all around but not really tops in anything. Fun little beast.

2 WD is actually harder to run than 4 WD. This looks like a great 2s brushless animal.

I have a suggestion for a video, I'd like to see your thoughts on the losi mini b rtr version, I've been eyeing one for a few days now but there really isn't a lot of videos on it

I will be getting into the hobby and considering this one or the 3s version. If I have the budget would the 3s version be better? Also I would like to get a 2 wheel drive eventually, would this be a good option after upgrading it?

Hi, I'm completely new to RC other than having a second hand Boomerang when I was a kid. I recently got an FMS 24 powerWagon crawler an I'm HOOKED. Obviously I had to get an FMS Max Smasher an I'm having great fun. I find the crawling SOO soothing an indoor play with the Smasher is super fun. Now I'm looking to go 1/10... I was looking at a Tamiya Mad Bull for a first monster/truggy but after cosidering buying the car an gear I've starting looking at alternatives. Was looking at HPI but have heard they break pretty easy. Would you say this is a good car for a beginner and an alternative to the Mad Bull an if not what other cars should I be looking at?? I'm not fussed about kit or box ready but would like 4WD an I see this car is easily upgrade'a'ble, my other gripe is I like my trucks to look like actual trucks so, that's limiting my choice! :'D Cheers for any help Jonathan

If I buy a Vorteks 3s I'm getting the Red or Black body , the solid color looks so much better than the stock 3s ones in my opinion .

Already own a 3s BLX and thinking of doing the same thing. Gonna pick up the black body and make it a little bit of a sleeper.

For a beginner, do you think the comparable Traxxas 2WD Rustler would be a good option as well? I know for $199, I think Traxxas does provide a battery and quick charger I think. I’m debating between these two car options myself in the $200 2WD price range.

In my experience the Rustler is not as durable out of the box. It is an option.

It could be a lot of different things. Check your connections. Check to see if the transmitter is powering on and has good batteries in it. Check the battery in the car for proper charge requirements for the vehicle. That should get you started.

I currently have this arrma vorteks. I have won a tamiya VW golf mk1 from hobby comps and I want to pair it to match my vorteks. What red would you say the arrma boost is just so I can match the paint??

I would convert it. The brushed equipment will not hold up.

I wouldn’t suggest doing that. The brushed system in our other rig burned up doing that. 2s works good though but remember to set the esc to lipo first.

Hello I'm 70 yrs young and never held a controller in my hand. I would like to purchase a Senton, Vortekor Stampede? I watched your video on batteries but I'm still unsure how Long the 3s last as far as run time goes, I don't want to go outside and call it a day in 10 minutes would you be so kind to send me some feedback as to my best option . I hope you found something good. Crawler batteries will last all day but bashers are usually an hour max. Buy multiple batteries is what I did instead of trying to fit a huge battery in my car.
