That’s the speed run game. Shit happens. Could’ve been worse. I think a new chassis will fix most of my issues

I'm very new to this whole RC thing. I had a Nitro Rustler years ago. I just ordered an Arrma Infraction, 4 batteries, and about 400$ in upgrades. It should all arrive in Tuesdsy, and I can't wait. So many videos I've watched of wrecks make me very nervous to even drive it.

Sucks bud ....and I know your pain!😂 But you can with out doubt hear the GRP tire separate from rim on you before you spun out...... foams can sometimes get ya also, but I've learned the hard way and only trust them grp's for lower speeds and if I do use them anywhere near or above 130 I'll keep that set for 100mph runs ... I've lost all trust in grps for this reason. But great first pass and keep pushing bud! Crash Rebuild Repeat! 👊👍 Your putting out great #s with it and hope to see ya keep going!

Thanks man. I know that set was a bit past its working life, and it cost me. Live and learn. I will likely swap over to foams and the speed run body for next time.

​@@speeedy_rc how is the fitment with 30t gear on OTAY spool????I had a 31t on hr spool an it broke by 1 of the 3 screw holes..

@@KBASHRC It’s actually held up. The screw points on the spool are the weak point, but it hasn’t broken a tooth yet. I messaged the seller about those weak points and he said he would replace if it broke.

That was undoubtedly the sound of a broken tire belt! Most likely the cause of wreck....had that happen to me a couple times before I switched to foams

Im running a set of GRPs when I made my pass here. Yes, you'll have to swap over to a 17mm hex set up.

@@Rcprescription It’s not a great fit but with some body trimming it works out pretty well. Another option is the BSR low profile foams. They cut down to 96mm, which is the same size as the GRPs

Yeah stop signs mail boxes and garbage cans and 25 mph signs do it all the time.

Yeah, I wanted to loose my shit when I crashed initially, lol. I kept composed for the sake of the video. After getting everything back all electronics were saved and the main damage was to the chassis and diff cover. $35 cost

Same thing just happened to me hit the curb sideways flew in the air maybe couple feet front half broke off 😭

I feel your pain. Tried 100mph with a traxxas bandit for 3 years. Crashed rebuilt and crashed again. Got it to 87mph the fastest. 4092 rocket motor on rwd is insane on a bandit. I knew it was dumb but didnt think it was that hard. Now got into arrma infractions and hit 111 mph in 3 weeks of owning it on a 4082 motor

Those Surpass KK & Rocket motors aren't half bad are they.. I use a lot of them in various sizes.

Rebuild and I'll send you my titanium custom center driveshaft to try it out. Anything over 100mph with stock plastic shaft you asking carnage lol..

Just got everything. Chassis and gearbox cover, $35. Not bad for the damage it took and what I saw at first glance. All electronics still work

Dammit man,sucks to see..I'd say like mitch said..either rr or rf came apart otherwise if rear gets loose 99% of the time rears gets loose to the right,other direction. Can clearly hear tire come apart..I've had no issues with grps,I run a thick coat of tire glue around wheel/tire seam on both sides of tire soon as I open them..strapping them only helps balloning,does nothing of wheel/tire separation.they don't do the best at gluing from factory... probably because people were calling them bitching about glue on the wheels..🤷‍♂️anyway brother keep your head up...we've all had it happen, I guess it's just the shiity part ya gotta go throu to progress.hope ya don't throw in the towel...I'd sodor motor lead onto that damaged port on esc.. you do know once esc is 100% killed You can send it to Castle and theyll give you a new one for $132.non-warrenty replacement..if your honest with tech they'll give you 1 free esc before you have to paying for them..I go through about 5 xlx2 an mmx8s a year..with core its 172/xlx2 an 132/mmx8s...you had car setup perfect for 140+++... it makes you feel any better I ran mine off the road yesterday at 144 miles an hour.everything flew out car except motor..didn't impact anything just rolled alot....surprised minimal damage all in all.

I hope for you its just the chassis which is cheap, The electronics hopefully will be saved.

It was mainly the chassis. All electronics survived. I will be rebuilding here in the next couple of days.

Need to watch kbash running all stock everything except motor and esc and doing over 140

I’ve talked to him about the vendetta. He’s helped me get this one to 136mph. Shit just happens. Pass was going well and then 💩

Oouuuch, Murphy's law, the car finds a pole of some sort 9 out 10!... Telephone poles are 50ft apart, yet the car seems to defeat the odds! 🤦‍♂️ My limitless has seen 2 poles, one at 76mph and the last one was at 128mph. Ironically, the 76mph was morr intense than the 128 one lol 😂. I hit the curb (the only 3ft long curb on all the road) 1st, then it hit the pole (like 10ft away from me), I saw an explosion of pieces as in slow motion fly in every direction, then the car flies across the street 2 lanes & hits one them electrical utility boxes on the sidewalk. But the chassis survived 🤗😂

That is the middle. I start from the entrance and end on the other side. Where I’m standing is truck parking, which is a shorter space
