Thanks Fil, yeah, I am really happy with it! Bit of a bummer I needed to put a bit of work into it, I guess RTR means Ready to repair... Happy I found this marked down considerably, so was definitely bang for the buck.

Hi there Mads! Hey, I like this buggy, it's a monster like it's name says! Goes like stink, too! You sure gave it a hard time out there, no wonder the tyres are shot! Fast forward the "talkie" bit? No way, that's my favourite part mate! Loved the mythology lesson! That receiver tray is ridiculous! Seems like the guy in the factory that put it together had been down the pub for lunch 😅 Having fun is definitely the main thing my friend. With the bigger wheels will you need to lower the gear ratio?!?!? Winter seems to have come back to the UK too! And I wanted that green Hopper, but it sold out before I pulled the trigger 😭 Take care mate!

Hey there, Mark, thanks! Yeah, it's such a cool buggy, and I can't wait to see it on those bigger wheels, then it will be a proper monster, live up to its name, ha ha... I think the original gearing is so low it shouldn't give me issues with the bigger wheels. The box did include an extra high speed pinion, but I don't think I will need that for now. Just on 4s and stock gearing, it's fast enough for me. Yeah, and the Hopper... It'll be slow... Ha ha, like intended... I hope to have it ready sometime around next weekend... You will get you one, eventually, I doubt they will ever become fully unavailable... Have a good one there, mate!

The Typhon speaks for itself. Of all the cars I've driven the Typhon is the most pleasurable. Off road or on road. I really like the statement you made about the Greek monster. Great job!

Thanks buddy, I love this buggy! It's one of my few RC cars I run the battery all the way down before I lose interest. I have also been out with it three days in a row, not got fed up, it's great entertainment! I just got the small Grom Typhon, it's not disappointing either! And the big one has the big wheels now, even more fun, he he...

You said it, Rob! It's proper badass and it lives up to the Typhon name! It might only be on 2/3 of its rated power, but for me that's fine, I can always up the voltage later if I feel the need for it.

Thanks Dom and Scaleworks! Yeah, it's a cool buggy, I am really enjoying it, sometimes I'm out with it daily. Not as convenient as a tenth scale, but it makes up for that in performance and pure fun! I look forward to play more with it during the summer, I got the big wheels on it now, it didn't make it any worse than normal setup. Have a good one, guys!

Thanks Jeremy! Yes, exactly, iron out the issues... Bit of a shame it should be necessary, but is what it is... I don't think I have any RC cars I haven't needed to do something to, sometimes only cosmetic, and sometimes quite a lot of repairs, this is far from the worst... I believe I have a great buggy in this, and I will enjoy it a lot this summer, I just got snow, though, ha ha... Have a great weekend there, mate!

Sounds like your Typhon was assembled on a Friday afternoon by someone in a hurry. The SLT3 radio system it comes with are actually quite adequate sounds like the build and squeezed receiver was the issue. The tyres wear out fast of you drive on gravel. So much weight in these buggies they shreed tyres. Your paint job on the body looks cool. Pity about the quantity control issues bro but now it's sorted enjoy one of the best bashing racers money can buy. Great vid mate 😊😊😊

Ha ha, thanks Shayne, mate! Either on a Friday or a Monday, he he... Yeah, the radio, I can just use it for something else... The buggy is just awesome! I am completely loving it, I only have 4s for it, and it's still got great power, and when I get those big wheels on it, it'll be even more of a beast! I reckon I will run this one a lot this summer. @madsrcbuggy I run mine on 4s. Put the 'high speed' gearing in and it rips without shedding tyres. Glad you are liking it. Take care mate 👍

Probably one of Arrmas best products in my opinion. Second hand purchase?🤔looks to be in pretty good shape 🙂👍the 3S Typhons are pretty affordeble second hand and there are plenty for sale aswell. But the 6S is the one to go for i guess😉Thank you for sharing my friend!😀whoops commented before i had watched the whole video😆quality issues aside its still a cool looking buggy!

Thanks Peter, yeah, I am really happy about this one, it's one of my best purchases so far! He he, yes, it's a new buggy, straight from factory with all its flaws, but at least it was cheap on German Amazon... I actually wanted the 3s plastic Typhon as my first Typhon, but was hard to find a good used specimen, and new even harder, and then this came on sale, so I grabbed it, happy I did... Now to get my mind fixed on that old Grasshopper, can't wait to get into that build!

Hey Mads, how did I not get the notification of this awesome bash session with Typhon BLX. Too bad about the receiver issues, Truggify the Typhon would be awesome, make it stable in tight corners. So the Tamiya Grasshopper, from what you said, no box art. What's up your sleeve for it?

Hey Al, my friend! You didn't miss the video, you just got there a bit later, he he... Happy you managed to watch, and thanks for the great comment! Yeah, the Typhon now has the big wheels on it and I love it. I got the buggy wheels on the MP10e and I love it too! I'm completely 8th scale crazy at the moment... Yeah, I actually had the Typhon and the Grasshopper out the other day, one of them broken, can you guess which one? (it wasn't the Grasshopper, he he) I got videos for the Grasshopper and the MP10e in the pipeline, I need to decide which comes first...

Did you get it this year? Strange that it has the old electronics and not the new ones. Likely not the S665 servo either? Great video, thanks for the share.

Sorry Bruce, I forgot to reply. Yeah, I bought it from Amazon this spring, it was marked down quite a bit, so it is likely it was old stock they were getting rid of. Apart from the quality issues I mentioned, I don't mind it's an older version. Thanks for the comment, buddy!
