There's something so badass about Arrmas, they seem so robust. I don't own one but man, something about them is so appealing to me.

I love my notorious im upgrading the servo and going to shim the servo saver this weekend also got a new servo mount as far as power I just bash mine so i put in the optional pinion and it will spin those tires plenty fast to get it to do what I want it to its definetly not for running around expecting a race truggy but it's a blast for sure I am hoping arrma does a O8s roller thatll be when I go up to arrmas 1/5 but until then the notorious is my favorite rig

GREAT RAT HOME! Didn't you see that your standing right beside a giant hole! One big ass rat runs out of it right beside you and back in a different hole! Must be a massive nest under that place! Check out 8:15 & you'll see em!

The servo saver on the Kraton EXB is also way too weak, no matter what servo I put in the steering was rubbish. I ended up taking the servo saver apart and adding 2.5mm of shims to compress the spring. Now it steers really well with the Power HD S35.

I had the previous version of the O8S (the one that came with the tactics radio) and slow was never what I thought when running my Outcast 6s. Even with the stock pinion 🤔. Nice review as usual

I think the low center diff fluid weight can be the reason why it's 'slow'. Have you replaced it yet? Most people use 300k - 500k

The demetor is over geared. The notorious is under geared. I think for a 1/8th scale truck gearing to 55-60mph on 6S is the sweet spot.

What pinion are you running? If it's stock Arrma undergears all their trucks. Go with a 17t pinion and you won't think it's slow 👍

Servo mount weak my servo turn and would wiggle when I play with the steering waiting for an aluminum mount to upgrade from the stock one

Depends on what you want. Traxxas has a lot larger selection of 3s and 2s vehicles whereas Arrma is more 6s focused. Traxxas has their own ecosystem while Arrma is currently more open but being folded into the Horizon Hobbies ecosystem.

It's good in my opinion. The v3 mega granite is brushless ready, same driveline, just different electronics under the hood. If I were you I would save a little bit more and spend $319 for the brushless version. Or the big rock. It's longer and has way better handling.

@@yaboy_freddy2539 yes the black one. That's ok. The granite mega v3 is a great truck. My son has one. he beats the heck out of it and we've been good for a solid month. You can get a few months of fun out of it and eventually put a brushless system in it if you want more speed.

@@yaboy_freddy2539 no prob, yes it will if you're heavy handed on the throttle and obviously being brushed the motor won't last as long. My son's is starting to slow down a bit. Going to go brushless soon. Again that's why I recommend the 3s line because it's brushless and has motor fan and will save you $ in the long run. I just got the brushed version to get my son used to bashing. Soon we'll be putting a hobbywing system in. (Just my preference) hope this helps you.

I saw somebody with a dementor once, and he told me he only runs 4s because 6s is uncontrollable

I have a Dementor V2 too. It's insane on 6S, the Corally's have the Arrma's beat in the power department, and it's not the gearing.

Just curious are you purposely using all capital letters for any specific reason, yelling or angry? If you choose to use caps for some understandable/legitimate reason aside from the most common then by all means do what you do...but with that said when individals use ALL CAP'S, its pretty common for others reading posts written in such a way to feel or generally perceived that its someone who is either yelling, mad, attempting to be a overly aggressive in a negative way or just that they simply want to have their posts stand out more or above the rest by visually demanding it. I believe its safe to say that this is not just my own opinion but the majority of users who choose to use/communicate on youtube as well as other platforms used to openly speak/communicate in present day. Now Im not trying to tell you what to do or how to conduct yourself but if i may make a suggestion, it does tend to be perceived in ways that aren't very respectful or appreciated by most UNLESS there is some context or grounds to help understand why one might choose to do so reasonably or say in situations when someone just isn't maybe getting the point in which one may use CAPS in order to convey a message based upon necessity or plain old logical thinking. The reason why i ask though is because i use to have really poor eyesight many years ago and not knowing any better i wrote in all caps alot of the time until someone did exactly what i am attempting to do now, that is trying to point it out to someone occasionally who may or may not know/understand/agree how typing like that tends to be frowned upon, considered to be rude, disrespectful or just unnecessary. Anyways i ask before assuming but really just offering you the same advise i recieved a very long time ago and that is, if theres no legitimate reason behind the use of ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME and its not used as a way of "raising your voice" in text when but more so IF you feel necessary.... maybe consider going the more commonly practiced ways of communicating without the caps. Ofcourse to each their own and this 8s just me trying to help by addressing a common thing most oeople won't take their time to try and address in a respectful/ positive way if at all but some times people just don't realize. Plus when you want to yell or get that visual point across the use of caps does work well(thats assuming ofcourse your not yelling at a nice guy on his own YT channel ofcourse as ide like to assume is not the case). 🍻 Again just friendly advise for everyone's best interest which is to be respectful to those deserving of it and if not qell... my mother always told me something about not speaking if not something nice to say but that might be a bit over the top as she was bat shit crazy but nonetheless a very respectful and respected woman she was. 🍻
