Buddy you did trim any of your areo. If you cut that rear spoiler done to the first line and get rid of that wind catching fins in the front, you’d of easily hit 120+ on that run

Will definitely be increasing those numbers I didn’t remove any of the aerodynamics or drag plates yet so it is bone stock.

Get you self further up that run way , I’m really happy for you 💪🏽🇬🇧👍🏽 big boy stiffen them rear shocks and cut that rear wing off simple but effective and run the 27 off camera till you master that run way you will be 130 + no time well done

Yeah I was trying to do baby steps here but I think the rear wing downforce needs to go away.

I just did a few modifications with gearing last night and as I get more comfortable I will decrease the drag with the aerodynamic plates. But thanks buddy I appreciate it!

Thanks buddy. I got a new pinion gear for it but I’m going to slowly trim down the wing and the front wing until I feel comfortable with it.

BTW I running Dumbo RC X6 I LOVE IT ON my kraton EXB.

Have you had any issues with the 1717-1650 motor? I am on third motor this year; all have blew up on the inside within 10 minutes of use. I even geared the car so that I would not have issues, installing a 46 tooth spur and 19 inch pinion with the stock transmission. All motors have been covered under warranteed but I am trying to figure out why I keep blowing motors. I am running on two 100 4S HRB batteries. All values in the log are low within range. I run with the motor cut off at 150°. I avoided the stock pinion and spur thinking that I would be pushing it.

No I haven’t had any issues at all with mine.

You are on your way to 130+! You’re gonna blow it out of the water. Better give it a little more room on the runway you were running out of road there.

You say you're running the stock earring? I installed the same motor in my limitless and with the included pinion with the kit it does not reach the spur gear when I install the motor mount. Baffled ?

Well I could put those titanium sparker plates on the bottom but that just creates drag lol

It would look pretty cool at night on this thing! It sits very low to the ground.

I have the same 1717 5600kv, castle m monster 8s esc, 27t pinion 34 spur. I get 91 on 6s. And that's without cutting the black air deflectors.

Cool i know i'm a little late but congrats on 109 mph i'm thinking about putting this same castle system in my XO-1 build. But i'm not sure if should do this castle system or a custom combo hobbywing max 6 with a traxxas\castle 1717. Which one should i do? I also might build an Infraction with the full 8s castle system someday.

@@BarstoneRC dang that’s messed up I just blew up a copperhead 10 all the capacitors melted off the board so decided to go with the 1717 and the mmx8s now I’m a little worried😣

What’s your max rpm on data log with the 1717? I’m seeing 75krpm on 6s and 89kRPM on 8s…. Gearing 21/46 MMX8S & 1717-1650kv doing 64mph & 75mph…Am I THAT MUCH under geared? That motors max rpm is 40k-50k so how is data log showing 89k rpm??
