Really not sure about the gorgon kind of want one out of curiosity you gonna put a more powerful motor in since you toasted it?

The Gorgon is brilliant for 2WD but it did not like the beach. I got a 12t in it that you will see in a future video. I did put a cheap brushless combo in once and it was slower. The placement of the motor does make it hard to get brushless motors to fit without cutting the chassis.

@@AdventureTimeRC The design of where the motor is an issue. But it was not slowing down but this smell came up what was the copper wire coasting burning off.

Thanks Steve, it was only when I smelt the burning I realise something was wrong. There was no loss of power and nothing jammed into the motor. I have been on the beach many times over the years with many different RC and this is the 1st motor to go.

That was freaking Awsome!!!!

Brushless is a pain to put in unless you get the Spekrum one and they are not cheap. I kept to brushed as easy to fit and it will be fast enough.

That was the perfect title for what happened, I have never buggered a motor on the beach before this run. The motor was toast as the coating on the copper wire was burnt off and once it becomes one it will not turn.
