I've been following you for a year, and you've helped me through a tough year. We bought our first motorhome last year, and have just done our first major trip _ 3 weeks in Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway as far as Glencoe. Imagine my surprise when I was sat on a wall in Callendar, and I saw you drive past, I've just confirmed it by watching you, and seeing myself. Thank you for entertaining me, and your advice

Poor Poppy, she’s saying get me out Mum. My Coco does the same ( sitting on the passenger seat ) , as some as we get into the park. She starts to bark and cry, desperate to investigate. I love Poppy’s one ear up and the other down, she is so cute.

A fascinating video about motor home life . I am not fortunate enough to own a motor home myself, yours is a beauty . I know Moffat well, I once went to school there. A lovely town. The Grey Mare’s Tail is a lovely location as is the Devil’s Beef Tub. There is an old spa well at the top of Well Road. The waters from the spring are supposed to have health giving properties. Enjoy exploring the area. You are a nice couple and your dog is cute.

Hope you did/do go to Drumlanrig Castle, its stunning.The gardens are beautiful.Lovely long walks but watch out as some of the arrows dont always point the right way lol.

You arrived the day we left (so close!) - a very foggy start that morning, which put paid to our early cycle ride to the Grey Mare’s Tail (we walked up to the waterfall and Loch Skeen the day before - and got completely soaked). Really liked the town - we’ll definitely be back, thanks for your arrival videos and recommendation… P&K

Bob n Jenny I got a g-tech handheld hoover for the van , find it excellent the accessory kit has everything you need for the van it's worth a view .

Hi Bob Jenny and poppy I always find your blogs interesting I like the way you take us round the campsite and shows us everything,how long have you been doing this or how long have you been travelling around in your motorhome,what do you do in the winter do you have a home bace for the winter,I know if I was fully able I would have my own motorhome, I was going to have a new narrowboat built in Poland but then I had a accident at work and lost my left leg so my life changed dramatically not for the good I must say, did hire a motorhome in June and traveled the west cost of Scotland and isle of sky absolutely beautiful but the downside of the trip I could not walk to see so many of the beautiful views,so watching you and people like you I sit at home and see what I missed ,lol till next time take care keep safe, John 👏👀😂🌹🌹🍺🍺🇬🇧🇬🇧

Thanks, we tour in our Motorhome around a third of the year, including winter and yes, we have a home. We've been motorhoming since 2003.

I was using a GoPro Hero 8 for driving footage.

Used to really enjoy stopping off at Moffat for the night on our way to and from the Highlands from Wales. Since we only have 7 days for the trip because of work, sadly staying at Moffat is no longer an option due to the Clubs change of policy making it a two night minimum stop over each way. Seriously thinking of letting our membership lapse as there are many better options for us.

Yes, I've never liked the club's two day rule, we just like the town fortunately, so we stay for at least two days.

We had a satellite dish on the previous van. We spent most of the time when we arrived at a site trying to find a signal!

I can only say, you need to know want sort of layout you want before you visit. Motorhome sales people don't need to do a sales pitch these days!
