Hi from western Colorado, USA. You would not believe how the picture you have posted on this KZread channel with Bob and Poppy warms my heart. My wife and I lost one of our Cairn Terriers that everything about Poppy resembles so much. If I was there with you, I would give those dogs a big hug. We love your videos. As an old NZ soldier, great to see the D Day remembrance ceremonies. God Save Our Queen. We have a strong UK ancestry, my paternal grandfather was British, my paternal grandmother was of McRae Clan. My mother was from Wishaw Lanarkshire Glasgow, though i fear, we are being encouraged to disregard our heritage by the powers that be here in the country of my birth in favour of another culture. Ah, Devizes, a lovely site. We've been there twice, each time for the Christmas market at Bath, a bus ride away. I trust you did the lovely walk along the Caen Locks, up to Devizes itself. It's a lovely town, and one day we'll do the Wadworth's brewery tour, too!

The very first site I traveller to as a newbie solo caravanner! 5.5 hrs towing from North Lancs! I loved the site and the staff were amazingly helpful knowing I was new. Booked to stay for a week to see my son who lived in Bath, but stayed for 2 weeks as we loved it so much. Do try the walk up the Devises flight. The tearoom at the top is worth it and is dog friendly. Enjoying your trip.

Hi Bob & Jen, my husband and I have been to this site twice now and absolutely love the canal walk with are 2 dogs. the dog field is great as well.

Hi Bob and Jenny I'VE stayed there once and loved it, not to far from the locks which is a must to see very nice cafe at the top well worth a visit. Anybody who Motorhomes does have an interest in toilets and pipes otherwise as those of us of a certain age know the phrase "Plumber come to mend your pipes misses" gets heard......

Great blog , here is a question do you do you prefer ccc or mo and caravan club site ,for the record we prefer the ccc club sites mainly because we use kingsbury waterpark ccc site a lot and love it there

Looks like a nice camp. Are you members of the caravan and camping club as well as the caravan and motorhome club? Glad you are all ok. We were beginning to get concerned that something was wrong as you were a little longer in posting a vlog. We thought you may be having a well deserved rest from it for a while. 😁👍

Well - it is no surprise that there exists " JACKASSES " everywhere : o ......... WOW : o the scenery is just beautiful !!!!! ........ Like - postcard quality : ) ........ Holy - mackerel : o How long is that traffic backup ??? 0ne - two miles ?? : / ....... The worst part of it is there is no alternative - there is no way around it : [ ...... I am sure there are many of them very very angry : [ ......... Say - I like that someone from the park - staff assists with the location of the pitch : ) ......... Of course - the many other parks that we have been to are just as nice - peaceful - safe - and clean - which by the way - is very important for and to families - and showing that - is vital for and to the many others that may want to go there and know that because of your channel and you showing these facilities they can have a peace of mind about it - makes sense : ) ......... Are you sure of the toll prices? As far as I can remember Bob you never paid to get out of Wales, we only use to charge to get in.

Yes, think you are right. At least they abolished them, unlike the Mersey gateway toll.

At a Caravan and Motorhome site you get to drive around the site and choose the pitch yourself, i have noticed on various video’s that the “camping and Caravan site you have a warden showing you where to pitch up and cannot choose yourself?, is this the case can someone confirm please

Yes, usually at a Camping and Caravanning Club Site, someone shows you where to pitch, you can usually discuss what sort of pitch you would like though.

As I said, I won't go I to the reasons we didn't go to Tourerfest, but it was nothing to do with the organisers or the Longleat campsite. In the end, we needed a rest.

Personally I want Jenny to go Video in the ladies too, I want to know the loos are clean and not drafty etc, it's not creepy as long as there's no one else there at the time lol

We were at a site recently, very clean I might add but were mixed, I thought to start with was a bit weird then got to thinking, there are dads out there who take their kids away on holidays or mums with sons so me for one wouldn't want them going alone for a shower so in some ways the mixed blocks were safer to me. Have yous came across mixed blocks yet?

@@jackiemccutcheon9048 in the Netherlands at Camping De Paal had the same door, men to right women to the left. Chain Bridge campsite had unisex showers and toilets.
