We liked Cirencester. It’s a huge campsite with very varied pitches so if you like grass, handstand, fully services, playground or quiet areas, it has them all. It’s a nice walk into the city but up hill on the return journey 😃 Thanks for sharing the visit with us. 👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue

Hahaha! the amount of times I’ve filled up the fridge, taken the contents for a trip across the country and bought most of it back home! Honestly, I don’t know why i don’t learn 🤦🏼‍♀️ Cirencester was a very interesting place. Looks like a person could spend a pleasant couple of days there poking around. I like that you film the bathrooms. Some of them are so nice, but for some reason the horrible ones are far more entertaining. 😂

We were there last week, 6th & 7th June, did much the same walk as you, but also the source of the Thames walk along the Monarch’s Way. Great site. 👍

Thank you for showing us Cirencester. We live on the other side of Stroud but have never been to the park for a walk, and hardly ever to the town. It is true what they say about things on your doorstep being overlooked.

Having a pizza!!! What, with a full fridge! Tee! Hee! Don't blame you!! They seemed to have something every night!! Liked the idea of baked potatoes!! Have a lovely trip, I shall enjoy travelling with you. X

Very much enjoyed this video. I've never been to Cirencester and it looks a lovely old town. The site is good too. Very open and plenty of dog walks. I must be weird because I enjoy looking in the toilets just to see how clean and well kept they are, or not lol

Hi both, Loved the vlog. We may have been at Cirencester just after you, we arrived on Friday, just for the weekend. The entry road is a bit of a pain, depending on when you come and go, as the Cricket and Tennis club both use it. Those large boulders appear to me to be a bit of a statement. I know people who have stopped going to the site because of this. I believe the CAMC have no influence over this entry road and it belongs to the Agricultural University next door. Have a great trip, we will be following you all the way!

Often the problem with access roads.

Hi Bob and Jenny, check the 15 amp fuse on Sargent unit, there is a problem with 15 amp fuse overheating. It's the end fuse that also supplies the 12v to rear view camera and fridge when engine running. We had the same problem, it was an intermittent problem then stopped working altogether. I stayed at the site last Tuesday. Great site and lots to see in the town. Sadly I was only there for 1 night on my way to pick up my new van and my exploration was limited by scorching weather but I plan to return for a longer stay. I’m glad you film the facilities at the sites you visit. Personally I find it helpful so I’m sorry you’ve been getting stick about it.

Just meet these guys at camping and Motorhome site in the new forest, popped over to say hello and to praise them for there KZread channel, even the dogs greeted me, keep up the good work.

If you get the chance try and visit Arlington Row, stunning place.

The air tattoo is on 15th 16th 17th July at Fairford not far from Cirencester so roads around will be very busy .glad u enjoyed hill upto the air ballon roundabout

Toilets are fine, it's the singing we'd prefer to miss out on 🤣

Hi Bob good video as usual good information. We never thought of going to Cirencester before but we are definitely going there now. It suits us plenty of walking and close to town. The site is good for our dog as the exercise field is large. Your videos are the motor-homers equivalent of TripAdvisor but much better. Carry on the with the trips.

Hi both, quality vlog as usual ! Great site, always well kept. Lovely town, even better when the sun shines. Did you discover the tap room at the micro brewery over the field opposite the site office ? Only open Fridays and Saturdays. Well worth a visit.

Might be worth joining the Caravan and Motorhome Club as you save £13 a night compared to non members. It is £56 for overseas members paying by direct debit. A partner and children under 18 are included. So after 5 nights you'd be saving money.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo yes they have been given permission to erect electric gates and charge entry - apparently local residents will be given free entry but “tourists” will be charged once installed. Perhaps the club will negotiate discount.
