Clips from Arrival to the song On The Nature of Daylight by Max Richter from the soundtrack. If you haven't seen the movie there are clips that are considered spoilers so beware.
I really liked this movie, it is definitely different from what is typically released currently and that probably added to why I enjoyed it so much.
Thanks for watching!

I love the fact that they went for this piece even though it had already been used in shutter island(personally, my favorite movie), they didn't care if anyone thought it wasn't original enough, they knew it fit perfectly and they went for it

Love this. DC fanboys can’t imagine “The Truth” fitting in with WW84 & SvB and it annoys the F*CK out of me. Music has feeling, and I’d the moment fits, then it must be carried forward.

@@enrique88005 I think it's tough to compare Shutter Island and Interstellar because they are both magnificent in their own ways and are different genres of film. But I would say I love them both if that helps.
the ending and pay off of arrival might be the greatest in cinematic history, masterful structuring, and this song is just as rare an achievement.
Wish I could forget this movie so I could watch it all over again. Is it just me, or did anyone else felt sad when they left?

Yesterday I saw the third episode of The Last of Us series and this song was in the most dramatic scene. It hit me with the same feelings of the movie, this song describes the feeling of accepting a terrible path, doing this for love with no regrets…

One of the greatest pieces of music that has ever been made
Is it only me? I feel devastated and profoundly sad while listening to this beautiful piece of art, part of an amazing, unforgettable movie. I think the music reflects the tragedy of Amy Adams character. It sounds like this, it gives wide variety of emotions, words are useless this time.

which is why music fits perfectly, it really describes love, which is all encompassing and loving, caring without conditions, and painful, just so painful, as it loves even though there is end, darkness, it cannot be defeated as its ability to not be afraid of darkness trumps over it, the tears that flow are to me more of a soul remembering its home and majesty of its greatness while still trapped in this 3 dimensions and time.. remember you are more, this is only one part of the travel, this world, these bodies, memories.. love, its bigger and it binds all into one, do not separate it from the whole, there can be no bigger tragedy than this

So true.
Im so glad the Director went with this song as the main score
I just finished watching arrival on my laptop in my living room alone on a Wednesday night in Texas. The end of the movie was so emotionally heavy that I balled my eyes out and when the credits rolled I immediately searched for this song on KZread which brought me here to the present moment. I watched this video and cried a bit more and now I’m writing this comment. As I listen to the quiet thud of my fleshy thumbs typing these words against my iPhone screen’s glass, I am reminded of this fact: we are all here to help each other, to love each other, to be kind and gentle with each other and with ourselves. If you’re reading this message, know that you have love in your heart and that others have love in their hearts for you. Let them know today, they’re waiting to hear it from you. I’m going to go eat a burrito now. Have a nice rest of your day 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
So, Hannah. This is where your story begins.

The sound track lifts me up from where I am, flies me beyond the clouds. It's somekinda a heavenly music
This film is the most beautiful and intelligent and moving science fiction film of the 21th century for me :)
This music brings tears to my eyes.
Randomly played now on my playlist , made me remember all friends that are no longer friends those who left our hearts shattered like what this music made my heart ... Hypnotizing my brain tho my heart is combating yet it will succumb to the nostalgia of greatest memories with them. I hope you are all ok my old friends
The sort of music that transcends for me is the kind that can go deep down within yourself and discover the rawest of emotions. The combination of this track and this movie is soul crushing. Hadn’t felt this sort of pain in a long time. Too much to even think about but the pain teaches a lesson to appreciate the moments you have with the ones you love while you have them.

I’m so glad this video was made! I watched it a year or two ago and came back to see it again. Well edited.
Whenever I see the ending of Arrival and whenever I hear this music, I always think about this one woman who I’ve been in love with for 10 years now. We’ve never been in a real relationship though. We’ve been intimate a few times but we’ve always just been friends. Her choice, of course. I’ve always wanted her and I would always look at that ending scene and fantasize about finally being with her in a relationship. 10+ years later it still hasn’t happened. And I know it never will. But I love her. I’m going to try to let her go now, and it’s very hard. But maybe in my absence one day she’ll realize what a good man she had here who really did care for her. I guess we’ll see.
