ARRIVAL IN BARILOCHE AND ASADO [PART 1]

In this video we show our tourism trip to Bariloche. The trip began in Morón, western area of Greater Buenos Aires. We leave through the West Access towards Lujan. At kilometer 68 we take national route 5 heading south-west. As we left in the afternoon, night fell on us in the province of Buenos Aires. At kilometer 496 of National Route 5 is the town of Pellegrini, a place where we usually stop to sleep on the way out if we leave in the afternoon and on the way back when we leave Bariloche early.
After spending the night we continued along the same route to the town of Lonquimay in the province of La Pampa, at kilometer 549 there is the fork to take provincial route 1. This alternative is convenient to avoid passing through Santa Rosa de La Pampa , since it is a large city with what it implies in traffic. We continue along this route to the town of Macachín, it is approximately 72 kilometers. In this town at the YPF they sell some delicious dulce de leche, it is worth stopping to refuel and buy a couple of jars.
In Macachín you take provincial route 18 until you come across national route 35, it is more or less 58 kilometers. When we meet National Route 35, we turn left for 20 kilometers until we reach the fork with National Route 152 on the right. We're going this route.
For those coming from the central north of the country, from Córdoba capital, go down national route 35 until the detour to national route 152.
For those who come from the area, go down National Route 40 straight.
We continue along national route 152 to El Carancho until the road forks again and we take national route 143 towards Chacharramendi, passing this town we take provincial route 20 to the left, this is the famous Conquista del Desierto route, it has bad press but it is nothing more than a 190 kilometer stretch with a monotonous landscape and few curves. Now, March 2024, they were re-asphalting the route since May 25.
Provincial route 20 ends when it collides with national route 151, from now on the route is very ugly.
We continued along this route to Barda del Medio, there we sought to take provincial route 7 that goes to Centenario, we chose to go along this route and not continue along national route 151 in order to avoid Neuquén Capital and be able to take the ring road.
20/22 kilometers after crossing the Neuquén River, near the City of Neuquén we have to turn right, after there is a sign indicating the exit to the Central Market. We have to take that exit to go along the ring road. This road, after passing 2 or 3 roundabouts, takes us to national route 22.
After 25 kilometers we have the bypass to take national route 237.
If you leave early in the morning, a good place to spend the night is Villa El Chocón. It is a good alternative to spend the day and rest the rest of the day, which is where the most beautiful landscapes begin.
At the height of Corral de Piedra there is another diverter, we must continue along national route 237, the other route that leaves from this diverter is national route 234 that takes us to Junín de los Andes.
Just after passing the diverter, the incredible view of the Collón Cura bridge surprises us and is the gateway to the Enchanted Valley that will accompany us very close to Bariloche. There are countless trips to the Limay River to spend the day or go fishing.
We stayed at Bungalows La Caleta (lacaletabungalows.com.ar/) Av. Bustillo at 1900, leave the phone number +54 9 2944 85-4040. A place with a rate in line with the services, on the cheap side if we consider the view and location it has.
WHERE TO LOAD FUEL.
I'm going to put where I schedule to stop to refuel, which is generally not done because our bladders have less autonomy than the vehicle's gas tank...
Leaving Buenos Aires.
1st load: Pehuajo or Trenque Lauquen (Buenos Aires).
2nd load: Macachín (La Pampa) from here the fuel is cheaper.
3rd charge: May 25 (La Pampa)
4th (and last) charge: Eagle Stone.
The next day we went to have a barbecue at a playground on the road that goes to El Ventisquero Negro. The recess is where the path that goes to the Ventisquero Negro and the one that goes to the Cascada de los Alerces divides, just before crossing the wooden bridge. To get here from Bariloche it is 45 km. It depends on which part of Bariloche you stay in, the exit that suits you best will be the one that suits you best, but you have to go south along National Route 40, after passing the ACA of Lago Mascardi, it is 30 km away. From Bariloche, you have to continue about 5 more kilometers and after the bridge, provincial gravel route 82 leaves on the right. By this route and after entering the National Park and paying the entrance fee, we travel 10 kilometers to reach the recess.
That's all for this video, see you in the next one as we will be touring the Chico Circuit and Colonia Switzerland.
