I'll be passing through Frankfurt next month so you video is very timely. You flew from Canada to Iran; did you have to go through passport control/customs or security at Frankfurt? What terminal and gate did you land in and what terminal and gate did you leave from? It looks like you landed in Terminal 1 B and left from Terminal 1 B. Thank you for this excellent video.

Thanks for your comment, you also won't need any passport control, going through airport security or customs and as you mentioned, the entry and exit terminals were the same, the entry was at Gate A and the exit at Gate B from Terminal 1. I wish you a good trip 😎

So if I arrive and leave from the same terminal (Terminal 1 in your case), no passport control? I guess that makes sense. I'll be there next Wednesday.

Hello! Thank you very much for your helful video, soon I'll be flying from France to Armenia through Frankfurt by Lufthansa (one ticket with transition), having Shengen visa. It's not quite clear from the web-site information if there will be transit path or passport control. But if I understand right you need just to follow the indications and if there is passport control then your gate will be with the passport control? First time at this huge airport and worried to miss any procedures and be late for the flight (will have 3 hours there).

Thank you for watching my video! Firstly, 3 hours should be plenty of time for your transit, so no need to worry about missing your flight. Regarding passport control, it can vary depending on your specific route and if you change terminals. Since you're traveling within the Schengen area, you might not need passport control, but if you do change terminals, it's possible you'll encounter it. Just follow the airport signs and you should be fine. Have a great trip!

To be honest, the trip went surprisingly smooth :) I can confirm that navigating at Frankfurt airport is great, first thing is finding the electronic board with the flights, check which will be your gate and then just follow indicators. If you'd need to take tram or elevator the indicators will just guide you all the way through. It is also great that it's shown how many minutes walking to each gate, very helpful to see if you need to rush or not.

I just got my visa and im immigrating to canada as an international student. This will be my first flight without my parents 😅im kinda panicking but tnx for you guidance

If I remember correctly, there is no security check in Frankfurt for flights from Canada.

What was your final destination?
