I think its AOK. Exciting, and dramatic. These cowboys have to know what they are doing. Its called SKILL. They are not hurting the horses.

@@jodie4609 I disagree with anything to do with Bull sports as well as bronc riding greyhound racing has good and bad owners and horse racing needs better rules and better people because most of the horses LOVE to run same as the dogs.

I guess I don’t get it. Is the bareback horse the dude transfers to a horse that has never been ridden? I don’t see flank straps and they barely buck. If this is traditional for how they start a saddle horse, I guess I understand the cultural context, but other than that, there are plenty better ways to ride out and start an unridden horse without so much emotional drama for the horse.

Is a sport and has specific rules. The rider has to jump in no more than two turns around the arena. The rider has to remain in the bronco until he is able to get down. As you have nooticed i am not fluent in english to explain better.

This Is call "El paso de la muerte" It translates as "the passing of death" AND It has specific rules, this "simulates" how the charros doit un the past, the move to the wild unriden horse AND try to break It...yes youre right theres a lot of better and Easy way to do It, but what Is the fun in that

That was an accident. The horses got to close to each other and both their legs were down at the same time and got jumbled up. If done right this is fine but shit happens. The rider could have been pushing the horse to run faster but riders should trust what their horse is doing and how it's pacing it's self with other horses running beside, behind, and in front of it.

@-demon_dog-8511 There is no point for most of the things people do with horses other than to give the horse a job so it isn't just sitting in a stall or pasture bored its whole life. There is just as much risk with this sport that jumping, x-country, barrel racing, reining cowhorse, bronc riding, and even trail riding and ranch riding do. Everything you do with animals comes with risk. This was an accident, just like when a reining cow horse is working and it trips and falls.
