Arredondo, capital del mundo

El motivo por el cual Arredondo es conocido como la «Capital del Mundo» viene de lejos. Fueron muchos los vecinos de esta localidad los que surcaron el Atlántico en busca Fortuna y retornaron al pueblo convertidos en indianos rodeados de grandes riquezas.
Lo que más llama la atención de la iglesia es que la torre del campanario se encuentra separada del edificio principal de esta.
En definitiva, Arredondo, es uno de esos lugares de Cantabria en lo que se respira Paz. Ideal para pasar un fin de semana de desconexión total. Alrededor de esta localidad hay varias casas rurales cuyo entorno natural es idílico. Además puedes aprovechar para visitar la Ermita de San Juan de Socueva o el Nacimiento del río Asón.

Bonjour cher Jean Claude ! Vous voulez dire la scène de la rivière ? Cette ville a subi un exode de personnes au XIXe siècle qui sont allées « faire les Amériques » et beaucoup sont revenues avec de grandes fortunes. Cela s'est constaté sur la commune avec la construction de grandes demeures seigneuriales et cette église de style néoclassique avec la particularité d'avoir le clocher séparé de l'église. Ils voulaient faire la tour très haute pour voir, comme disaient les locaux à l'époque, jusqu'à la mer (ce qui est complètement impossible étant une ville située dans une vallée et très loin de la côte) parce que c'est ainsi qu'ils le ressentaient. était la capitale du monde. .
