Slice method will copy the array with given index range. You can read more about it on mdn

or ek chiz reh gayi while using splice method on array we can delete an element and at the same time we can put another value at the same place i.e : const a = [3,4,8] a.splice(1,1,5) ans will be [3,5,8]
