How is it possible that your sweet auntie can look so radiant and youthful on a moving day!!! ??? !!! it is absolutely unfair!!! she should go all natural more often.. in fact, you are all radiating ! You all have encouraged me over the years to live a much better quality of day…. American hurry was not fun!!! I have learned to prioritise slowing down and truly enjoying the moment I am in more than I ever have in my life. ….. thank you for being such a wonderful friend along the journey.! 🎉❤

I thought Avignon was spectacular. I had my "ultimate French moment" in the middle of Carcassonne. People were sitting around a courtyard eating lunch while a woman sang La Vie En Rose accompanied by an accordion.

They replaced the stand seating and there isn't the underground area like the arena in Rome. They even flooded the Rome arena and did navy battles in there for a while. The outside of the Roman coliseum was also half removed for other buildings.
Your aunt and uncle are very fortunate to own so many lovely treasures. Their home is going to be so beautiful once everything is unpacked and has found its place. The thing that makes it a wonderful home are the people who live their.
I loved Chantal and Steven's converted barn home in England, but now it looks like all that glorious French furniture has truly come home to the right kind of building with all the space to really show off.

I remember clearly from Primary School, learning the folk song: sur Le Pont d’Avignon. I’m an elderly Aussie but one day I may get to visit France. In the meantime I enjoy France on KZread. ❤️
My sister and I danced on the Pont d'Avignon when we lived in France in the 1960s
This video is SUCH a delight!! My admiration for Philip increases exponentially as I learn more and more with every post what a wonderful person he is for both you Stephanie, AND your family and EVERYONE at LaLande!! I LIVE the beautiful service a repro of Marie Antoinette’s lovely service! I LOVE the care he gives to each and every table setting! I LOVE the taste of your Tante and Oncle! I thank You ALL for taking me places that I may NEVER see with my own eyes (unless I win a POWERBALL lottery-LOL! Bless you-each and every one!! 🤗🤗🌷

I love the statues on the stairs! I think a Beautiful flower arrangement on the table in between the 2 statues would be perfect!

I know I cannot have anyone see me and will not answer my door even, until I am fixed up and hair done, makeup on and ready for people. I would not be good at Lalande. LOL I would need to be very cautious the cameras are not around, until I get moving in the right direction and look presentable, I need a little more color in face and do not like to be seen as I am, wish I could do it though, and be sure that I look alright, but some people can and some not, Stephanie and her family and friends can do it, and are looking really great!
Your aunt has good taste.
Wishing your Aunt and Uncle lots of happiness in their new home 🏰😄🎉
❤❤❤Watching your Aunt's and Uncle's relationship lifts my spirits! Your Aunt's smile is contagious!❤❤❤
My style of decorating is quite minimal but when I watched this I kept thinking, “You know, it wouldn’t hurt to add a statue or two, maybe a couple of vases, a few more paintings…” 😂
I really enjoy the history lessons you provide when you travel!
Glad they’re in France to be closer to you.
I so don’t want you to stop showing us where she’s putting her lovely things. Hopefully you will be showing us more.

It was wonderful hearing you speak if Michael Pethrick! I was beyond thrilled today to see he has a new video on the Doing It Ourselves channel. It's been a year and I've missed him❤❤❤❤
Loving the furniture and statues, dishes and scarf! The arena is magnificent and Aunt & Uncle are so sweet! Beautiful episode ❣️🩷🇺🇸👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’m really enjoying views into the lives of your aunt and uncle, as well as mummy, Percy and Gerald. Especially as traveling, seeing and experiencing so many countries, places, foods, lifestyles isn’t possible for many of us, well at least me anyway. Thank you!
A stunning table setting fitting for even Marie Antionette and Phillip cleans up quite nicely too
Stephanie shine's like a star since Phillip proposed. He's a VERY fortunate guy. ❤️🙏
Your aunt sounds just like your mother. Funny!

We sang it in newport,ri where the French troops bivowacked during the revolution under the leadership of Rochambeau and Lafayette...my first Newport home was the Vernon house where Rochambeau stayed and entertained Washington in the ballroom especially built for him ...also after the war Mr Vernon visited Rochambeau in France and was given several paintings by Marie Antoinette to smuggle out of France for preservation during the French Revolution..one of them being one of 3 Mona Lisa,s which Marie Antoinette called The Nun..the other Mona Lisa was supposed to be in Spain...The Nun was last seen at an auction in America in 1953 and was sent into private hands...I am eager to trace the history of the paintings if anyone has an interest... I have an image of The Nun and will post if I can figure out how.... 🤔

That’s amazing! Just talking about the French song has led to this wonderful moment in history between the USA and France. You also must feel privileged to be the custodian of a historical house. 🤯 🙌🏻 🇺🇸🇫🇷❤️❤️
Well that brought back memories of my French O level with my French teacher singing Sur le Pont, as I had been asked a question to describe the picture which was of a bridge and I could remember the word for bridge and she was desperately giving me a hint. 😂
those stairs will keep them in good health for sure, add some swimming for balance if you can
What a beautiful collection they have! I think they found their place in this beautiful house! Can't wait for a toor when it is completed!

So pleased for your aunt and uncle, what a beautiful place to live. ❤
If you saw Stephanie's Aunts other house and all its beautiful decorations and furniture I just wonder where she is going to put everything in the new house, just wonder if she had a super garage sell? Lol..lol.. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
wow! your aunt has beautiful sculptures 😉
The sun makes everything looks beautiful and nice but quite tiring😅 most of the time I don't like going outside...let alone moving in a new house in hot weather😂am always surprised seeing tourists walking the streets searching for restaurants! They close at 2pm guys, meaning at 13:30 u stop searching because they close. Love the service ,I know marry isn't interested on table services but a beautiful plate can make a difference when u present your meal.
I can't decide whether I love the porcelain or the marble busts the most. Both are beautiful. Another wonderful video. Thank you.
Love your Aunt and Uncle! It looks like they has many treasures to arrange in their new home. Wishing them the best of love and luck on the move💕
Your journey brought back beautiful memories of driving through the south of France, staying in Avignon, visiting the Papal Palace, and more. Thank you. And the china is beautiful!

I was hoping that you would be buying something in denim from the auction house in Nimes. But that dinner service comes as a good second prize
I was able to visit Nimes and the arena in 2018 and it was a beautiful city to wander in. Loved the canal, and the gardens and fountains, and the men gathered playing boules.

Hello to everyone at LaLande 🎉
Your Christmas present looks wonderful with your dress! The comment about the bust being moved to the bedroom where she can contemplate her life choices made me laugh!
Oh my goodness! What an incredible collection of bronze! I am so incredibly envious! I thought it was more partial to Marble but holy wow!
Love the Central Park Hermes scarf. It looks perfect.
As soon as I see your aunt and uncle I smile - such a lovely couple! Their home is going to be amazing - the decor so far is lovely. They restored two victorian houses with Stephanie's parents while working other jobs. Stephanie's mother was a psychology department head nurse, and they ran nursing homes, one after another. Stephanie and her cousins grew up together. Stephanie lived in the attics with the large family and dreamed of her own Chateau. When Amaury was a teenager, his parents started to restore the barn property. They sold that property to buy this house. Stephanie's aunt repairs sofas, for example, as does Stephanie and Philip. You are confused by people who have worked hard their whole lives and mend things. ❤❤❤
My mother had Booth’s Real old willow china. She even had the silicon pieces. My daughter has them in her property storage along with my Limoges and Royal Doulton. They use her husband’s rather tattered bachelor china because it has pasta bowls with flat rims. I understand Phillip’s china obsession.
I’m so happy to see the beautiful china! Now we know where you get your great taste Stephanie. Your Aunty and Uncle are the cutest❤️Philip is quite the mover. Can’t wait to it is all together! Feel the love of family 😘
