I recently saw one of his interviews where he said that he hadn't seen his Oscar award from the day he got it. He had given it to his mother who wrapped it in a cloth and kept it with her somewhere... And oly after her death they got it searching her room. And just after saying this he said that life shouldn't be water that is stagnant but flowing. This hit me hard. Whatever respect i have for him went X1000

At the cost of being misunderstood as a fool... i would definately say that out of all the spiritual people came on your podcasts.. this was the best spiritual content you have ever created... i mean the depth and honesty in Mr. Rahman's answers are just "Divine" ... Period.

I am from Chennai,tamil guy and HONESTLY i was waiting for years exactly for someone to ask him such deep stuffs to ARR and this is the FIRST and ONLY interview which opened him up in a SPIRITUAL way!!♥️

Interviewer deserves a lot of credit for extracting so much out of Rehman Shb..he is not everybody's cup of tea when it comes to communication..this probably is his best interview till date

He could've gone into deeper aspects and ask riskier questions such as corporate intervention and bollywood remixing his originals. Par upar upar "sir sir" karke poore generic questions poocha. Atleast he could've made the conversation light hearted and fun or ask him some personal stories. Even I want him to see indian youtubers grow but this guy lacks conviction.

He is using his podcast to grow his business not channel. He is using you tube just for fun and doing podcast with successful people just to enhance his personal skills.

At 7:14 When he said im learning from you, I could see the enthusiasm in your eyes, is a different kind of communication, Ranveer felt something for several seconds, he did not let it come on the camera Or I dont know. Anyways, its always a spiritual journey to listen to A. R. Rahman Sir. Thanks

A R Rahman, composing to so many genres, so many artists, different cultures/ languages, different poems/ holy books to party songs…. No grammy/ Oscar can gauge or reward the talent. He is living music god 🙌🏼 I bow to him

First time seeing rehman sir speaking so frankly speaking his mind ,its the power of Ranveer , the comfort he gives a good listener and great at curiosity to make them engage in suçh deep conversation.

From listening his song in a dark room to taking his interview...Ranveer has came a long way..huge respect ranveer❤💯💯

This is the best AR Rahman interview ever! Great questions asked, follow-up questions asked, Ranveer was a great listener and not just asking questions for sake of doing it. In the beginning of the interview I felt Ranveer is starting slow and will come back to filmy questions later. But how nicely he stayed on life lessons, spirituality and asked those filmy questions under the umbrella of those life lessons. For instance, Kun faya kun. Nobody asked Rahman sir ever, about this song in this much detail. First time somebody asked him about what went onto making this song, what went behind the scenes. I have been following this gentleman AR Rahman since 1995. Trust me I have watched all of his Interviews (yes, all of them. Even the Tamil interviews, even though I don't understand it). This one by far the best Interview in last 20 years. Before this, Simi Grewal in 2000s took his detailed Interview and asked questions about his beliefs in God, spirituality and made him comfortable to answer those questions and then his first biography by Nasreen Munni Kabir too. In this world of noise, egos, over ambitions, Rahman is still the guy who is not trying to impress anyone. Just doing his work to fill his soul. And that comes to the listeners automatically. We feel the presence of the almighty in his songs because Rahman stays in that realm of Sufism to bring those greater joys to us from that realm. Thank you Ranveer for doing this. I got one more Interview to watch repeatedly 🙏❤️

The guy will be 55 in 4 months. Works like crazy but no wrinkles around eyes. No pressure. No weight of "I am ARR". People like ARR, APJ and others are living karma yogis who have found their surrender in the divine, have let go, give joy and leave quietly. Funny thing to say - ARR is not about Music.

Its was tears hearing this podcast....tears of happiness, tears of peace, tears of motivation,tears of enthusiasm

A good musician doesn't become A R Rahman without the soul that makes ARR. So much to learn from .....gratitude.

You literally create a zen environment in all your podcasts where every person you interview just immerses. Congratulations for being able to do that at such a young age!

The Legend all we can see his music touched every single person in our country..his music has reached from SOUTH TO NORTH INDIA ...HE IS AN INDIAN ..AND WE LOVE THE LEGEND..

For the past 10+ years I get most of my inspiration from A R Rahman interviews. I'm no big shot but still inspiration and motivation is for all.

Bring The Great Singer Padma Bhushan Dr. KS Chithra. Her perseverance and relevance to this day after 4 decade long career, despite all difficulties is an inspiration.🙏🙏

I just love this man simply for who he is, when he talks it's like one should blur all the things around and just focus on this amazing personality this beautiful human talking.

Sachin Tendulkar and A R Rahman both were child prodigy and blessed by the almighty. Both of them are very humble and soft spoken person. Success hasnt got in their mind. Hope one day u interview Sachin Tendulkar as well
