Why the notified videos not played once you click on view??
Overall, the camera seems pretty decent....was really disappointed with the video format on the SD card....has an extension of all things called "media".....not being to view the video on a pc sucks - still looking for a work around for the screwy format extension.

anyway to set the camera to 24hr recordings?

I don't think so. Probably due to it being a battery powered camera. 24hr would drain it fast.
How long can the battery life use

It's rechargeable and advertised as 160 days. Of course, it depends on how ofter it records and how many times it's accessed through the WiFi. I have attached a solar panel to mine so the battery time is not an issue at all. I'll be posting a video for that either later today or tomorrow.
