I love how the improv on a major triad sounds just like early jazz. 😀

It does sound a little bit like Louis Armstrong, doesn’t it?

Lol, thanks so much, Jack! I've moved twice since I recorded this video! 😱 Time does fly!
I’ve saved your vid. Thanks so much for the info on potatohead. I’m going to start adding some of the various colour tones you mentioned in my solos.

Awesome! I really hope it helps - happy practicing and good luck!
That was a golden papya of a lesson Jeremy! Great stuff as per usual.
Thanks for another super lesson, Jeremy! And Golden papayas to you!
I like these for practice. Any suggestions for how to make these more dynamic? You have another video where you discuss improving mediocre solos by widening the range from the lowest note to the highest note in a phrase. Do you have any exercises for working with our arpeggios over more than this limited range of a seventh,?
Trying to keep up with your pace of video releases is like trying to drink from a firehose! But that's the kind of problem I like to have! Thanks, and many golden papayas to you!
Amazing!

Thank you, Rich! Happy practicing!
Bravo Jeremy! What a fantastic lesson, that was so helpful. I stayed right to the end so I didn’t just read golden papaya in the comments section! Not sure what one of those is, sounds like a fancy California kinda fruit. Keep going Jeremy, these are brilliant lessons. By the way, I got you a mention on Tony Winston’s channel yesterday - any increase in book sales is on me…
That has helped me so much Jeremy… a golden papaya !

I'm so happy to hear that, Anna! Enjoy!
Thanks for awesome explanations. I really dig your lessons and your book "Playing Solo jazz piano". What presentation gear do you use? I'm a musicteacher and would like to produce tutorials. Is it roland go livecast?
