ARP 2600 M deeper Review (Korg MS20m, Arp Odyssey & Arturia Drumbrute Impact)

Музыка

Personal Overview about the Arp 2600 m with a little help from my Korg MS 20m, Arp Odyssey and Arturia Drumbrute Impact. All the Sounds and Drums are made with the 2600m accept the Outro Jam and the Preamplifier Demos. It´s a small reminiscence to Vince Clarke

    @@knobsswitches It is true. I am watching demos in different channels about this synth and always is the same. Your demo is different (at least) for me. I am thinking in this case con Antonus (clone) 2600. Do you know this model?

    Just found your review of this great synth. Here's my question: I have a Eurorack modular set-up and am wondering if the 2600 could be sequenced by it. Specifically, could it be sequenced by a module such as the Mutable Instruments Marbles, without passing through a CV-to-MIDI converter?

    as the internal standard voltage of the 2600m has been reduced from 10V to 5Volt, Eurorack compatibility is now given. I use a RYK-M185 sequencer.

    I stupidly sold my Kong ARP ODYSSEY thinking it would be around til I could repurchase and boom, gone. Not to be the case with 2600m. Chefs kiss.

    hey , can you take an external lfo to modulate some stuff ? i´m just asking coz the moog matriach cant handle this.

  • @knobsswitches

    @knobsswitches

    Yes, i used the Sine Wave of the Matriarch LFO to PWM the 2600m. The 2600 accept 5Volt Signals!

    if you have tons of modules, you probably don't need an ARP2600m. I really like it because the sound is unique and the handling is just great. you can quickly get great results without patching and then really step on the gas with the help of additional modules. In my opinion, it enriches every set-up. But that is of course always a matter of taste
