Yes, always in my heart

Reminds me a lot of parts of Utah and Nevada. Especially the back-rotated blocks of sedimentary rocks and arid to semi-arid climate. In North America, those regions have exposed former coastal and continental shelf deposits and were an inland tropical sea during the cretaceous. I can't help wondering if this region has a very similar geologic history. I love videos of bizarre geology and landscapes like this. So cool.

I'm so proud to be Argentinian, our country is so beautiful and diverse ❤️

The bus ride from Salta to La Paz Bolivia changed me profoundly. At night, you can see the column of stars that make up the Milky Way galaxy so clearly it was like being in a planetarium. Made me cry (no joke)

I know what you mean, I was born in Buenos Aires and when I was a kid, (born '71) we used to sleep outside at night in the summer, back then there was not so much light pollution, and my dad used to teach me about star constellations, and we could see the arm of the galaxy so clearly it all made sense, now I've been in London since 2002, and Europe ( this hemisphere,) has a very different night sky, like all my stars are upside down. Glad you experienced that, I know I would have cried too, funny, I've never been to Salta, Im sure from there, the Milky Way is just a tiny bit closer.

This is one of the wildest landscapes I have seen, massive forces at work in geological terms, some real mountains in the background, multi-coloured ranges, cactus growing out of steep mountain sides, rare to see so many varied landscapes in one area. Quality is excellent, compliments.

ich war dort 2015 für 3 Monate mit meinen Camper rumgereist, die location ist unbeschreiblich, weniger als nichts, Nachts absolut Null, kommt man nach DE zurück, versteht man die Welt kaum noch.

Awesome video! Just to clarify, from Cerro de los 7 Colores (6:49) to Cuesta del Lipan (10:10), landscapes belongs to Jujuy Province, all the other belongs to Salta Province (all the Salinas are shared). Of course, this is just a fun fact, northern Argentina, no matter which province, has one of the best landscapes of the world!
