The largest port in the Canary Islands in the north-west of Gran Canaria is also known as the "Port of Light". In addition to the annual arrival of cruise ships and ferries between the individual Canary Islands, it has established itself as a sports port with well-known regattas such as the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers and the MiniTransat.
