algodón is cotton in Spanish, that is an interesting yarn blend!

Fun episode, thanks. Trivia for you- I just finished a book about Emperor Justinian and learned that Andalusia used to be Vandalusia, because the Vandals moved in and took over late in the imperial period.

You’re so right about blocking. The drape on that shirt was AMAZING! 🤩

I am also in love with needle stoppers. They are not only functional but sooo cute! 🥰 Absolutely pro blocking! I always use wool wash and do the full blocking program. It’s almost a ritual. 😅 I always thought of myself being a process knitter but there are some items where I am definitely more a product knitter. Thank you for making me think about that. ~ Kat

As an avid sock knitter, I started a scrap blanket with all the extras a month into the pandemic and I am still not done. They are so much such to remember the projects I made or the people I made them for and have it all in one piece I can use. It's from over now 8 years of sock yarn and it so chaotic in colors- I love it.

Aro, so glad you’re back!!! I’m so sorry that you had such an awful experience at the event you were looking so forward to. I’m glad you were transparent about taking a break from knitting cuz I have guilted myself so much while struggling with my depression. 💕 So thank you!

Wool dreamers is actually from Spain. Lana de Andalucía is wool from the region of Andalucía in Spain, not a type of sheep (they do work with endangered breeds of Spanish sheep as well and also produce Lana manchega)

I don’t know about that. I like complicated stuff but that’s because I like the final product. I don’t necessarily love the process itself. I do like knitting but mostly because of what I make and it is relaxing which I also like.

Hi, Aro knits. I enjoy your videos. I don't wear women's garments. I watch to see your makes, and they are wonderful, but I really am interested in the knitting process of your makes. e.g. canoe neck, drop shoulder, stitch pattern. You are definitely a talented knitter. I love yarn, you showed some beautiful yarn. Your blanket is going to be awesome, alot of work, but awesome design. I'm using awesome too much, lol. Brilliant. Enjoy your video. See you on the tube. 😊😊

I do know some bare yarn suppliers that sell minis already wound bc I wanted to start dyeing yarn for fun. So I got a bunch of bare minis and dyed each one for the dyes I had in my collection and WOOF that was horrible. I absolutely would not want to dye minis for an advent 😅

Sizing occurs to me when talking about blocking. I know you prefer super wash, which can really stretch, so I’m wondering how you account for size/yardage. You’ve been at it long enough to just know I suppose but any advice for others?
