Arnhem (Dutch: [ˈɑrnɛm] (listen) or [ˈɑrnɦɛm] (listen); German: Arnheim; South Guelderish: Èrnem) is a city and municipality situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of Gelderland and located on both banks of the rivers Nederrijn and Sint-Jansbeek, which was the source of the city's development. Arnhem had a population of 159,265 in 2019 and is one of the larger cities of the Netherlands. The municipality is part of the Arnhem-Nijmegen metropolitan area which has a combined 736,500 inhabitants.
Arnhem is home to the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, ArtEZ Institute of the Arts, Netherlands Open Air Museum, Airborne Museum 'Hartenstein', Royal Burgers' Zoo, NOC*NSF and National Sports Centre Papendal. The north corner of the municipality is part of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. It is approximately 55 square kilometers in area, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands.

The outlying areas of the following villages are bordering the municipality of Arnhem directly, which means among others that in many a case a considerable number of their inhabitants originate from Arnhem.

The city lies a few kilometers from the border with Germany, and to some extent the westernmost villages in the municipality of Elten, Germany, function as dormitories for people who work in the Dutch city of Arnhem in part due to the immigration of Dutch people from the region that were attracted by the lower house pricing just across the border.

Love the very lively vibe of the place. The architectures here, those restaurants and the bicycle lanes are so refreshing to see. Would love to visit Netherlands too. Big thanks for letting me see these places and I had a fun experience watching.

yess, arnhem has a great vibe, especially in the summer times. Its easy to go there by train, station is not far from the centre. you should visit arnhem sometime 😀.

It’s calm and relaxing if you don’t look Arabic/Turkish, otherwise you’ll get constant dirty stares everywhere.

So many bicycles, we also have Spar in the UK. Lots of English language spoken and on signposts. That surprised me a little as I expected almost totally Dutch. Very nice video mate, always good to see new places.

bicycles are a big thing here. lots of people use it too.its sometimes easier to travel without the hassle of traffic. SPar is a shop that exist but its not everywhere.Here most signs are in dutch but sometimes there are english words in it also. thanks once again for the comment.

I am an Australian who works in Asia and the company I work for is based in Arnhem. It's a lovely place and enjoy going there if you visit go to Gamaba Seafoods near the Burger King it's the best in town.

yess arnhem is easily reachable by train from every other city here.Arnhem has its own station so you can reach it by train. visit arnhem, its a great city.

It is shocking that almost none wears a mask there, despite the pandemic covid-19 at that time.

yes it was last year in the summer. in that time it was a mandotory to wear mask in shops but not outside. now the lockdown is removed. we dont have any restrictions here anymore since he 25th of february. only in busses,metro and trams. thanks for watching and visiting my channel. gr from the netherlands
I’ve been in your beautiful amazing country a few times. I had an opportunity to stay, I didn’t, I should have. Having said that, WTF??? You people have real food coffee, chocolate, etc… . Soooooooooo disappointed to see American crap like Burger king, Starbitches, and Shitdonald’s. How disappointing

Because of lockdowns many local place closes. Starbucks and taco bell is new in town and burger king changed location. I also think because lot of new foreigners dont know Dutch food they rather go with globalized fastfood. Febo had to close
