To me I forget about Arnel sounding like Steve Perry, and more on Arnel having such a great voice to carry this incredible band.

I bet Steve Perry is very proud of Arnel for singing so beautifuly as the frontman for Journey

I play guitar in a rock/metal band. But my love towards music has always been stuff like Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, Journey.. etc besides rock/metal music. But this song is the best song ever. The melody really hook your heart, the arrangement is perfect. The guitar solo is really strong and powerful in a very touching ballad like this. The fact is NOBODY is Steve Perry. Why try to constantly compare Arnel to him? It's useless. Everybody understands that Steve Perry is the real Journey and the real voice. I don't think anybody is debating that. But why can't people still let themselves enjoy this band? I'm just thankful they're still out there rockin and sharing their music, no matter who the lead singer is. And let's be real here, as legendary as he is, Steve Perry would not sound in 2014 like he did in the mid 80's. Arnel does the songs the justice they deserve and Journey rocks.....forever!

" Go out do whatever you want with whoever you want call it whatever you want just don't fracture the name journey" Steve Perry " I " I was contacted by Neil about doing another record I told them no over the phone. Why do people from the South have to tell it like it is ? You're so right. When you just love a singer it's the end .When you love a band it can go on and on . They're all awesome, but Steve Unforgettable Perry will Always be the best of the best . I think it's all about being flexible. Southern people got that .☝

Insane vocals on this song. A favorite of my Journey tunes, and I have been listening to them since Steve joined them. Saw Journey on their Departure tour in Hawaii. I remember when this new album came out, and this song was their first video from it, and I thought "Wow! Just killer!" - and then the tour was cut short when Steve had a cardiac incident while jogging in Hawaii. Such a shame man. Steve Perry's voice is amazing and so is Arnel's. Great job Arnel - so much passion!
