I don't use them that often but the nice thing about the triangular handle is that when you set the brush down, it stays put. It won't roll off your desk or something.
Really nice rundown of these brushes, cheers. I know which ones I need thanks to you.
Nice review, I've been thinking of getting some new brushes, I might get a couple of these Army Painter Brushes and see how I get on with them, thanks for sharing.
Awesome review thanks!
You had me at painting single cell organisms
Thanks for the review! just what i was looking for!
Very informative video cheers :)
I had two regiment brushes: the first one worked somewhat decently for 1-2 months, retaining his point only when wet, the second started having rebel hair and split point in one week. I do take care of my brushes, other brands lasts me several months consistently, these army painter brushes are cheap and i’ll not choose them for anything apart from basecoating for the first weeks, than they become good only for washes.

I actually own one. I can recommend. I haven't tried painting single cell organisms but I think that it actually would be possible.

i died with laughter when he said this
One reason that I'm thinking about getting these brushes is because my current ones have a round handle, normally this is fine, however every time I put them down on the desk or table, etc they roll off onto the floor, Army painter brushes wont do that :)
I put in an order for them, do you think that there is anything I can do to salvage this brush. I am relatively new to miniature painting so I really appreciate you answering my questions!

Chris Eakes Chances are that the brush is fine and what you have done is caught some paint in between the ferrule and the bristles(the metal part of the brush that holds the bristles). Using the brush cleaner should help remove the paint and get it back to a workable level. Take a look at my guide for brush care for more tips: www.talkwargaming.com/2014/04/tutorial-caring-for-your-paint-brushes.html
Tell me please, a brush Character sable or not?
Can you use these brushes for enamel paint like Revell or Humbrol?

I've not tried them myself but I don't see why not. Just make sure that they are cleaned thoroughly afterwards.
My regiment brush has frayed and lost its point on my first use, what can I do to avoid this?

Chris Eakes You want to get your hands on something called The Masters Brush cleaner. It will help to clean your brushes as well as preserving them for longer. I've been using the same regiment brush for close to 18 months with no problems just by making sure it is looked after properly

I can't tell for the wargammer brush, but the hobby brush from army painter are really bad compared to prince August brush.
