Well, y'all made me cry! This brought back ALL the feelings of watching our son graduate from Marine basic training. Congratulations Braxton!! So proud of you.

I cried when I heard them young soldier say about how they are going protect America and will never back down, will never leave a comrade behind and all the good things they are going to do for us Americans. Then when they all raised their hands and said what they said gave me glory bumps. When Braxton got down on one knee and proposed to Maggie that was so sweet. Congratulations Baxton and Maggie. Like I said before, Baxton IS doing the good for this wonderful land we call home, and our home is America, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Thank you so very much for sharing 2 special outstanding days with us. I had tears in my eyes watching this video. Angels among us.

I was a graduate in 3rd PLT, A 1-40th "Spartans". I remember Fowler (Braxton) even though our platoons didn't interact much more than taunts and the occasional rivalry. Braxton was definetly a guy worth being proud of. We got to talk several times during BCT and I was glad to call him a Battle Buddy. He certainly earned his beret and patch right there along with us and I'm glad guys like him are wearing the uniform. He really is an American Soldier.
