EXO is one of the 3 most popular Kpop groups internationally but I don't understand why they are underrated in Korea right now. The members are so talented and the personalities of the members are also so good. Yes they don't promote but they don't promote not only in Korea but also abroad but they are very popular internationally. They achieved their success in these comeback together with their international fans. EXO has sold 1 million albums with 0 promotions and 2 of our members are in the military, they're #1 on iTunes in 89 countries, they're the best-selling group digitally on China’s music platforms so EXO is very popular internationally but it's very sad that they are treated unfairly in their own country. I think koreans should appreciate the perfect group like EXO. I wish EXO would open in Europe so we could have a chance to see them and go to their concerts and you have these things millions of people dream of, I wish you knew the value of all these

Since 16 02 2012 kris teaser as an exo member I became an exol After all this years Even through my bias isn't physically in exo any more I can't just leave exo behind Kris once said if I wasn't an exo member, I would be an exo fan And this what I am doing loving them as 12 cause they are always 12 in my eyes and my heart no matter what Exo we are one

It could just be because the most popular stars are talked about more often so it's easier to stan them without looking for content because it's everywhere. it's basically the same for a lot of new kpop fans who only know bts and blackpink.

It is not just bc Lay is Chinese. So many Chinese idols especially in SM left Korea and went back to China to actually “criticize” Korea and they never come back, while all the Korean fans spent their money on them. And this is also related to political problems. So a lot of Korean fans felt like being betrayed by those Chinese idols, so they are protesting against the entertainment to stop debuting Chinese members if they know that those Chinese members will betray and leave Korea someday.

I understand if idols maybe criticize companies....we all know companies don't always treat idols well. But I have not seen idols speak bad about the fans? Now due to politics Korea is clearly massively focusing on the USA market and English speaking idols...

Did Lay ever badmouth about Korea or EXO or EXO-Ls? I thought he became inactive after 2016 due to hallyu ban in China and other political reasons. Still he never left EXO and sm also let him stay in China and do his solo projects. Besides, I think the only ones who are supporting Lay actively are his chinese fans. And it’s also the other way around, I think chinese album sales for DFTF was so high this time because of Lay's participation.
