Leslie Bee that’s awesome glad to hear the video was a help👍🏻 mine is still like new after that replace and it’s been quite some time now.

I used D-15 contractor contact cement type glue. You can get it at home depot in the flooring section, also known as commercial grade glue down carpet seam glue.

Your video wont load. What do you do after you remove the 4 screws?

Best video I’ve seen with step by step of how to give idea of how to take off and re-install. Yet I’ll just buy some adhesive spray and vinyl from michaels and use a blow dryer will be much cheaper for my 2005 Chevy Equinox SUV to fix. Mine lost its shape on sides and very grimy on top surface so I just needed an idea of how to take apart yet again best video I’ve seen thanks for sharing 😃

I found a replacement on Amazon for $10...only problem was that the stitches are yellow and it came with some sort of adhesive tape which I'll try! Thanks for the video it was very helpful!!!👍👍👍👍

Mine still holds and looks brand new... assuming Nissan puts a cheaper vinyl cover on the console. Guess we all get to deal with the infamous elbow crack in our original center console arm rest.

I have 17 maxima S.L. 3 months ago I notice the same problem and my driver seats cracking up. I thought i probably did that with cleaning chemicals but now I see others have the same issues with their car. Ebay had the center Lid for $29.99-$75.99. Plus u can get from a nissan dealer for $44.99.

How did the grain patter match the old grain pattern? I’m wondering since the grain pattern continues down the console.

Carol Morris sadly for me I had put an adhesive arm guard on the top of my console and it dried it out which caused it to crack, not factory defect. But thanks for the offer 👍🏻

I got mine through Amazon and it fit perfect although you do pull it tight one in place before tacking

I did not staple it due to the fact it would take a very high powered stapler and I did not have one but to this day my vinyl cover has stayed tight and looks great

Sorry brother… yah the dealership or body shop will get ya every time on the covers. Maybe this will help out in the future for someone else you know 👍🏻

Would be nice to actually see in the frame of the picture what you were actually doing and the music can go would rather hear you talk I'm not listening to music thanks.
