Appreciate it as well. I am enjoying all of the products so far. I will say the car looks great after 2 weeks and the gloss of the paint coating is fantastic.

You know it is gaining traction when other channels are starting to show the product line.

What is it about the Diamond ProTech Wheel Coating that came up short, as far as your concerned? I've got the Lone Star Matte tire coating, that did quite well in Scott HD's Test, to try on my Lexus tires.

It is not a concern but an observation from having it on my other car. Diamond Wheel lacks in self cleaning and hydrophobic behavior compared to other wheel coatings. If I were to coat wheels with a Diamond Protech coating it would be with Diamond Body 36. A dedicated wheel coating is not necessary for a daily driver. The heat produced by the wheels will not exceed the coatings temperature resistance. Diamond Protech confirmed this as well that DB36 would work on wheels.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the wheel coating to try out!! Man, I really dig that tire dressing, too! How does it compare to Perl? It looks a little less glossy, which I’d be fine with. Thanks for another quality showcase, keep it up!

Thanks man. Definitely less glossy than Perl neat or diluted 1:1. A bit better durability than Perl as well.

Dark side to me has more sheen than Perl or ADS Tire+.

I’m still looking for a durable, long lasting wheel coating to replace VM1. DLUX is done after 12- 14 months, especially on German cars. There is a big market for a top quality wheel coating. Maybe Armour Detail will fill this void?

That is the hope that it does hold up and compete with VM1.

Mike, how's the thickness of the coating compared to other brands? Also is it grabby like Matt said? I am super excited to try it. The hydrophobic are nuts

Goes on semi thick. It is a bit grabby nothing horrible. The slickness upon wipe off is different than other wheel coatings which is nice. It looks promising so far.

What's the heat resistance?

@armourdetailsupply would have a better answer on the actual specific temperature range. Their site only states high temperature resistance.
