Nope. She’s innocent. I work for Brinks. The FEDS come & run interview for hours. Lie detector tests,they check your phone records,your bank account transactions. She was cleared. She was fired but was cleared of any involvement. The amount that they stole wasn’t even enough for her to even be involved. Either they just grabbed what they could or it was a early day & she didn’t get a chance to pick up a lot of her stops.

I love the bit of foreshadowing at 1:24, with the "now hiring" ad on the back of the truck 🤣

This is inside job. She went out on her own as she is not supposed to do. Opened the door as she was not supposed to do. Left the door open rather than closing it as she is not supposed to do. You can not do your job delivering money and fend off an attack with multiple robbers at the same time while alone. This is absolutely Brinks fault for not having two people on the truck, her and another as a lookout with a rifle or shotgun.

If it was a inside job, why didn’t they wait for the truck to be loaded with millions of dollars.

Too many security officers have been killed for protecting others wealth. Hope she find employment soon.

I’m a security at a bank and I tell them we need to be getting paid way more for putting our lives on the line everyday !!!

I thought they worked in pairs. No way I'd be picking up money alone.

Maybe some of them work in pairs. I mean you would think that would be a better option right? 😞 I personally have never seen them work in pairs though . Whenever the brinks truck comes to collect the money from the restaurant i work at, it would always be 1 person in the truck.

Well they said she broke protocol but didn't say what she had done wrong exactly. Maybe she wasn't supposed to pick up the money alone, maybe her partner was in the bathroom or something, who knows. Someone in the comments mentioned a driver, but there was no driver in the truck as the men with guns only had eyes on her. It did look a bit like a set up (not saying it is).

I still feel like it was a inside job her eyes were darty af crying with no tears

Work at a bank. Only one guard goes in to make the drop off or pick up. The other one or two guards stay in the truck.

Yeah that what i was wondering here. I usually see 2 security guards around the armored truck when unloading cash then another two guards at the bank's door. In this case, she's by herself, she's no match to the robbers.

If the house if entirely engulfed in flames, the firefighters do not enter. They extinguish the fire from outside first and afterwards go inside. What did they want, to see an entirely empty truck and a dead employee next to to it. Those guns they had compared to her small hand gun and the fact that she was outnumbered. I would try to sue them as well. Wrongful termination. I don’t know what policy she did not follow, but she would not have been sent alone in a truck filled with money.

The real question is why was she alone? Such important operations should be done with multiple people. Also disgusting of them firing her.

@@nardo2007 But that choice wasn't up to her. If someone doesn't come in for work then they should have given her another partner. If she refused to work by herself they would have fired her on the spot. All of this is on her supervisor.

The only reason to be armed is for SELF-DEFENSE, not to die over the money

If you look closely you could see one even had a rifle pointed at her when they came out of the car. If they wanted her to fight those guys they practically wanted her to die

I had a moment like this last year. I live in Australia, and in early 2022 much of the north east got flooded. The company I worked for only cared about the stores being open. I was forced to work during the floods with no consideration that maybe I should wait until it’s safe

She had several violations of policy that I could see. 1 gun hand is not free 2 not checking her surroundings before opening the door 3 transferring to much in both coin and cash at one time 4 it doesn't appear she dropped any of the cash in the vault. She became too complacent.

if she got robbed she deserved to be fired. the status of being employed is should be based on performance not your situation. she didnt do her job correctly, therefore she deserved to lose her job

The banks I worked at had a back door but the truck had to park in the same park lot as everyone else. Didnt help much.

Usually, you have a driver keeping an eye out. They most likely have her doing this alone.

You put your life at risk and could have easily been ended…and you’re fired. Brinks sounds like a nightmare to work for lol

And if any manager had a problem with that she could have talked to corporate about management wanting to break protocol. It’s clear she may not have known the protocol her self or sometimes people get too lax with the rules.

That is why the money is able to be insured- because the insurance company knows that with all the precautions, theft will be a rare occurrence. I suspect that she broke other protocols unrelated to actually opening fire on the robbers. Like, parking in the wrong place and not securing the money properly. There is no way that the job description says you have to give your life up fighting three robbers. You just made that up.

Brinks cares about the money more than their employees, sad.
