You can probably emulate some of them. But I don't think they would bother porting them to pc at this point. If they remade them sure but the originals no chance.

@@IchigoMait have you played the very first armored core? did you know that the right trigger is to look up? did you know that the right bumper was to move right? The controls schemes on older armored core games are ass. We should all prefer a remaster with updated controls.

Looks like a mix between AC4 movement, legacy AC speed and the insane AC5 bosses. Truly the definitive AC game of the franchise. Perhaps even the mecha genre

I've been a die hard fan of this series since AC2. This franchise literally set the bar for what mech games should be and I'm beyond stoked to see how the lessons learned from their more recent titles will contribute to this masterpiece!!

So beautiful, the vibe, the atmosphere and the intensity. All perfectly blend together. Love what u guys have done.

After so many years... and in just a few months?! Guess my wallet's staying empty for a little longer

I've never cared too much about Armored Core, but this looks awesome. Will probably be my first Armored Core.

@@Elieli09 Yes? That's how presidents work in a company. The dude atleast knows this is happening. Not only that, IGN's interview with the director says that he and Miyazaki always wanted to make another Armored Core.

Never played the old titles, but after over a decade enjoying their soulslikes, I'll buy ANYTHING these people make, I'm really curious to see them on a completly diferent genre.

Been waiting so long for another Armored Core... and this certainly looks like the wait was worth it. August can't come soon enough!

I’ll play this for 2 reasons: FromSoft has earned my trust and I loved whatever mech game I was playing on my computer in the mid 90s, maybe MechWarrior 2.

Never played an Armored Core game before so I hope they ll release a demo...

Play the old games. Most of them emulate well, and they're a lot of fun.

The Armored Core Series is the very best for me. I never sticked to other Mech Games, but from Armored Core i got all Titles for Playstation 1 & 2 & Xbox360. The freedom of Gameplay, and Customisation Options and the Music and the overall Ästhetics was always the best and very haunting.

I'm so used to the old Armored Core graphics that I'm really just stunned by how good FoR looks. Its so clean and detailed. Not that the previous games lacked detailing, they definitely didn't, but this game cranks it up to 11. Also glad to see they're taking cues from all the previous games. Old mechanics, AC4 style flying, what looks like Ultimate Weapons or something very similar, and probably a lot of great new stuff as well. All of it almost feels like a completely different game, and yet...it's just similar enough to still be Armored Core.

I remember when I first got into the series with AC 2 back in the day. It was an absolute blast then and I have nothing but confidence that this will be a masterpiece come release.

Never played an armored core game, I’ll probably try out this one.

Looks pretty badass. If they can retain the core (no pun intended) experience intact, plus amping up the visuals to make it ultra spectacular and maybe some small QOL improvements, this will be a must buy.

I’ve never known much about the armored core series, but mecha anime and games with mechs have been some of my favorite levies of media so I’ll definilty check this out.

Until AC6 comes out, consider getting Daemon x Machina (PC/Switch) its a spiritual successor to New AC...made by FromSoftware.

I hope they prioritize discretion and readability of projectiles. Like 15 years ago I was playing one of the older armoured cores, and it was amazing. the campaign was alright, but the one on one dueling mode against cpus in the arena was on another level. If I remember correctly there were like 100 duels, each one harder than the last, and as I played I would unlock more canons and missles and thrusters to customize my mech. at like duel 47 I went to save and accidentally loaded a different profile. common mistake, Id lost some progress but not much, so I went to load back to the main profile and accidently saved over it. I bit the disk until it was unplayable. it will be nice to have a different new armored core to play.

Imagine if Caesar crossed the actual Rubicon in one of these...

When that missile cage activates and the mech starts flying while Tony Nakamuras going crazy on the synth 🎹 I get goosebumps

It's been so long since I've been excited for a game to release, now with not only this but space marine two everything is getting better

I live for two things: giant robots and laser swords I guess giant robots with laser swords adds a third.

I love that FromSoft still does collectors editions

as a 3rd gen fan, I'm really pleased that I was able to spot some iconic 3rd gen parts 👀. I feel like this is going to be one of the most ambitious AC projects, and I have faith that from soft can pull it off

Never played one before. But after Elden Ring, Sekiro and Demon's Souls Remake, call me very very very interested.

It looks so good and awesome. The addition of bosses is interesting and that one enemy around the 1:55 mark gave me Carthus Sandworm flashbacks, lol. I can't wait to see all the customization options with our mech.
