I like the voice acting. Like some of the voices in re4 it just feels fun. You know everything you need to know just by listening to them. Perfectly fitting for a game where you’re a mech just shooting stuff

Poorly done voices?! What are you on, cause I need some. Sure, there are a couple funny lines, like Snail’s death and a couple pilots being very exuberant, but none were bad. They just had style. “Look at you…621. You made…a friend” One of the nicest lines in FromSoft games in my opinion.

I think the voice acting is actually pretty good. In a game where you see no human faces or expressions, the voices do a great job of giving a personality to each character. The mystery and intrigue of Walter's deep voice, the snappy charisma of Carla, the brothers-in-arms feeling of Rusty's voice, the professionalism of the corporate companies who assign gou jobs...all of it gives so much personality to faceless human beings you only hear through the radio.

The voices are good.

I had a moment during my first fight with balteus where the second phase started and I got rag-dolled across the arena and my only view was looking up at the boss hovering over its own flames like a literal embodiment of destruction.

It's always a good day when ACG drops new content on your head.

for real. the only reviewer where i watch the reviews even if i have no interest in buying the game haha

great gameplay replayability, its rewarded. gameplay variety w/ AC customization i can feel how small parts contributed to each run. Dynamic Narrative as its player agency, player's are given a choice w/ different outcome like E, but AC did it seamlessly w/ NG+ i end up begging for more Technical aspect: CPU usage, it's odd my problem didn't occur in ER. it's optimized if the game coordinated w/ my PC.

The voice acting is perfect. It gives me that mid 90s Gundam Wing dub, pilot to pilot banter we all know and loves. AC6 is great

Game looks amazing too. I mean MAYBE if you purposefully go out of your way to inspect some random rock or piece of debris but it’s ridiculous to point it out as a negative

Playing the Virtual On at the arcade with the two sticks was amazing.

Not sure if you used it cause it was fitting, but the Justified clip inclusion was great!

The voice acting in this game was very well done. It wad done as though it were an anime. Which fits since this game brings to life the feeling of piloting a gundam suit.

Mech Warrior and Virtual On owe *this* series thanks, not the other way around.

He’s probably working on it but maybe didn’t have it ready in time for the embargo lifting so he dropped this short until the full review is ready.

Actually very good to be honest specially when you murdered snail his VA nailed it. Ayre also nailed it with the kuudere personality then walter's voice make you realize his your daddy even without expressing it... Then Carla too surprisingly really good.. to be honest the voices nailed it correctly

So there kind of is one in Gundam Breaker 3. The main differences is it isnt nearly as fast paced and parts come from a more Diablo loot drop sort of way since the setting revolves around gunpla instead of a full on war. Its a blast to play either way.

Virtual On was my jam in the early 2000's.

This got me thinking Totalbiscuits would have liked this and now, sadness 😢

The voice acting indeed was great....if we could focus on them more while we getting shot from every direction and dodging shits cuz the voice lines do come up on wrong times

I like the VA. Kind of adds a campy touch to the game. Also, G1 Michigan is the best character for sure. I compared it to EDF. Yes, it's "bad" VA, but it becomes part of the experience and charm. I believe wholeheartedly that AC6 is one of those examples. I think it's better this way. Maybe people could disagree with me, but that's the vibe I get

How’re the sounds for the mechs and music? I’m hoping for real heavy sounding mechs (or gundam wing sounds), some real deep sounding gun shots and I have no clue how you soundtrack a fromsoft mech game

The enemy AI in FromSoftware games IS Allmind, change my mind..

Game doesn't look bad. But it also doesn't look like a long awaited 2023 release. About on par with many generic small studio Japanese mech games. The shaders and reflective surfaces do a lot of carrying in the graphics and animation department. With them gone you can see how dated the textures and animations are with many major animations being very rigid

Not often you hear Virtual On mentioned. Amazing game.

Bruh the voice acting is good. If you are put off by some things unique to anime. I can get that. But all the voice work is done wonderfully and captures the characters really well

I just audibly went " whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Then came straight to the comments when he started talking smack about the voices

I bought this game because i had extras dls in my xbox account. Last Mech type game i played was mechassault. This one blew me away. Its amazingly good.

Too many games releasing and this coming from a well renowned game maker reviving one of their original IPs that's gameplay formula is as simple as it is addictive so there's no need to over sell it?

Can we get some more info on the multiplayer? None of the reviews seem to cover it.

Spoiler for those who haven’t finished because I’m on chapter 4 now: Can’t tell me the line when Rusty hit the ice worm with the one liner wasn’t fucking clean.

Hated it so much when I reached that baulista boss with the pulse shields . But it taught me the controls and the game is so addictive, stuck on chapter five now

definitely in my top 10 games of the past 20 years. Shame PVP is so borked.
