Are there any builds that dont run dual minis/zimmers and dual needles? I'm looking to see what different things I could try but everything is the same

Fun fact: The "S" in "S Rank" actually stands for Stun Needle Launcher; and also, Gating GunS. Seriously, I wish the game was more balanced around the other weapons. It's so sad that this set up is what it takes to hit S rank.

It's definitely not needed to get the S. There are dozens of different completely viable weapons and some missions that these weapons simply don't work for.

Thanks for all the videos; very helpful. Is there a reason you swap out the boosters for different missions but otherwise keep the same build for the s ranks? Also, any reason you wouldn’t use the Nachtreiher/46E arms instead of the ones you have? They seem to be a straightforward upgrade in most ways.

As far as boosters go, the main ones I use are the ones that max out assault boost for larger scale levels and the other booster for smaller arena sizes for more balance. As far as armor goes, it's all about the least amount of weight possible for the most amount of overall speed.

is there a reason why you did the depths missions on NG++?

in NG++ they're considered Alt Missions with their own category and ranking requirements. For this one, the big difference is at 1:25 where you fight a different enemy.
