That happened to me too, on one of my best runs. But instead of going just outside of the zone, it got stuck and flew literally across the map out of sight

Wish you luck. Took about 15 tries but finally got the S rank. Beating it is no problem. Doing it in a timely fashion is. Hopefully they fix it soon. Crazy how it’s the only issue I’ve really had with PVE

I did not know that the faster I get through the mission, the more damage I can take vs the boss and still get S rank. That helped me so much. Thank you.

Imagine being able to take all our hard earned parts and weapons into this level. Be the easiest S rank ever.

Did not realize 1) the importance of time vs damage taken and 2) the fact you can just skip enemies - man I wish they would’ve clarified this lol. Got an S rank. Thanks!

I literally spent maybe an extra 3-4 minutes carefully fighting the boss, taking little damage, and got a damn C

omfg I literally had the same issue being stuck at A but getting near zero damage, spend 2 repairs and got S by just rushing lol

I hate to say it folks but it's potentially totally random. I had a set of timed runs where I was faster AND cheaper than my S run. Those runs got me A while my slower more expensive run where i screwed up a lot got me S. The only big changes to note in my slower more expensive run is I killed about 6 NPCs before the boss out of frustration because i knew the run was cooked. Might be why i got an S despite it apparently not helping the final score.

Different missions have different requirements. Like this is probably the only mission you can use a repair kit on and still get S rank

Ctfu who would of thought the hardest shit to S rank is the tutorial 😂

I just bought this game and damn it, I feel like the ranking system is gonna stop me from enjoying the game, because that's always gonna bother me, I replayed this mission as fast as I can do, the only problem is I died 1 time at the damn boss, so I ended up getting a C(cucked) rank..

to be fair, dying is a pretty big deal. Would be weird if it gave you a high rank after that

I think they *buffed* the requirement so the s rank is even harder now ;[. I used less ammo and i used less repair kits. and all i got was a A

bruh im annoyed I did the exact same thing as this guy and got 150k as base pay and yet i Got A rank Edit: Turns out restarting from Checkpoint give you automatic A rank

How do you attack twice with the blade, every time I use it, no matter how many times I press L2 it only hits once

THE DOOR WONT SCAN UNLESS I TAKE OUT THE ENEMIES IN THE FIRST ROOM Beat him, just keep boosting in its face and smash it with everything you have, especially melee. I took little damage, had 2 repair kits and even took out the first room AND all the enemies around the third fallen mech you need to scan.

So apparently the AC on the ground you take the Raven callsign from is called Nightfall, AKA the one from the trailers.

Apparently? You fight them and they tell you that you're an imposter. There's actually two different fights with that Raven piloting Nightfall In ng+. When you beat him/her you get the head that Nightfall uses.
