Dude I got under 120k expenses multiple times and only got an A rank. I swear From Soft messed with the requirements in the latest patch

Speed is usually the most weighted metric.

Just got this with a very fast/lightweight bipedal build, that used dual sweet-sixteens, right shoulder swap to pulse gun HI-18: GU-A2 to break his pulse armor, and left-shoulder swapping to laser slicer for big damage when he is staggered. It was my final S rank to boot.

Yooo thank you! Perfect build to S-rank my last mission😎 I didn’t destroy the TetraMT or Laser Cannon just went to miniboss. I have a similar build but with a backup Zimmerman. I hadn’t thought to tweak it for this mission though🤦‍♂️

I didn't exactly used your build, but the concept behind it was great. Changed it a bit to my tastes and got S in under 10 tries, nice video bro.

You can actually pre-fire your Needle Launchers at around 5:07, you just assault boost and fire them right before he shows up, it will hit him since he pauses for a second or two. Didn't know you can skip the entire mini-fight at 2:30, thanks for that!

If you wanna use a mid-lightweight build, I recommend trying the sweet sixteen pellet shotgun along with the VE-67LLA. Shoulder weapons are both the Kranichs. I used this build and got the S first try.

i would suppose that'd make smart cleaner a bit harder though

Took me a few tries. Ended up using dual kranichs (pulse cannons) and dual zimmermans (ugh, but it's the path of least resistance). You really gotta rush, and actually do well vs Snail. It's not like the other major boss missions like CEL240's where you can be sloppy; no, you gotta bring your best the whole time.

Ive been doing this mission with similar load out except im using songbirds. Does the songbirds keep me from obtaining the S rank?

@4:13 this part is by far the most infuriating thing. It's so confusing in there and there's just grating everywhere. What were they thinking?

Took me two tries, I used a similar tactic after watching your video, but settled on a light build with the coral sword and my regular burst rifle. It was faster and dodging Snail was easier, with better burst damage. What Im amazed about is you dodging all those lasers at the start of the mission, I just got shredded. Luckily my second run of snail I had full health and 1 heal left, so it gave me that wiggle room. This was my last difficulty mission I had left to S! Thank you!

I did it, i took down Balteus's ass, got the S-Rank, aaand, i got the hidden trophy and the platinum! Thank you! You and your AC-build, did the job an brought home🏠 the trophy🏆! Thanks a lot for the help!

why not use pulse armor? it depletes his shield instantly at the start of your fight with Baltheus for good dmg.

This mission just isn't possible, especially with new nerfs.

Use dual zims and a high close range targetting FCS with some mid range targeting too. You're probably fast enough, too much money spent on ammo, you don't need to kill any enemies if they aren't in your way either.

I S-ranked this mission using an all ALBA mech with twin ZInnermans, a Pile Bunker, and a 6-tube missile launcher.

Used less healing on my run and somehow still got an A rank :(

95% of the time I found that was due to time constraints more than anything, S ranks in this game are stupid beyond belief with how tight some are time-wise

@@SHWAPAH yea I replayed with a run using more healing but the mini boss kill was a bit faster and it was enough. The S ranks really are trivial or extremely frustrating.

@@zisenye3419 Ammo use, healing use/damage taken, and sometimes number of enemy kills, or logs found can all affect rank. I wish they'd put a hint on each mission like "Hey, here, you'll want to go really really fast" Or "Try killing at least x enemies before completing the mission"

Most times you lose the s rank because of ammo usage. This is another reason why the zimmermans outshine everything else, zims versus gats you use half the money in ammo and that's more than enough to dumpster your ranking. In attack the watchpoint you can finish fast and have no damage taken, but if you use tons of money on ammo, your perfect s goes to a b. It's really stupid how much some of this ammo costs.

NGL, I've gotten A-Rank like 30 times... 🤬🤬🤬🤬
