Sold! I use Rain X in the reservoir, but this may be the winner and certainly should last longer. I love the sheeting action while driving. And as you said Brian, the side windows will sheet. Thank you 👍👍

Sorry to hear Shiney's went out of business. Going to have to get the ArmorAll product. I use Rain-x for my washer fluid. I rarely have to use my wipers. I freak-out passengers when they see me with no wipers on and wearing a pair of Oakly's in a heavy rain storm. Thanks for posting this Mr. FAB.

I’m 100% confident in all areas detailing except glass/windows. For the life of me I struggle getting glass perfect. This just might be a go too. Not a fan of Armor All period, but they might be on to something here. Going to have to check this product out. In Az so will see how the heat effects application and durability. I understand not to apply in direct sunlight. I can get shade but this time of the year we’re getting into no cool days!

I had a bad experience when the detailer put Rain-x protection on my windshield that turned into a haze and very difficult to drive in traffic as the taillights were distorted in heavy rain in the fall season...I had the detailer remove it, even he was surprised... For years I have avoided putting anything on the windshield in case it happens again. I culd see this working great on side and rear windows.

This thing really works! It works sooo good that now I can't remove the coating on the glass and have to use a polisher to remove it.In fact when I used a glass cleaner (not this product) I saw crystals shining through. Only a polisher was able to remove it. I guess I will keep using it till the van runs out. Gonna try it on the headlights too if it lays down the ceramic that good.

I have had this now for a few months. Glad to see that your trigger does the same as mine. Sticks or whatever it does.

You can probably blame California for that. SB-32 got rid of typical propellents in favor of low carbon types. The nitrogen and carbon dioxide, while supposedly better for the environment don't have the same pressure or linear strength of the previous hydrocarbons/CFC's. So that's why you get the weak stream as you let up on the trigger. Not Armor All's fault, it's just more noticeable in this type of product.

Applied this on my windshield and drove thru a rainstorm and, in my opinion, this performed better than RainX. Beads were small, and quickly left the windshield surface. This is a winner in my book. Don't know on durability but I don't think durability is an issue if you regularly detail your vehicle!

I agree it’s a good product and for the price durability isn’t a factor to me.

I used this on our glass shower doors and the results were the same that you get on your automotive glass. I am extemely happy with this product. I have'nt used ArmorAll products in years. This one is winner though. I enjoy wathing your videos, very informative, and learned alot from them. Keep up the good work.

I have a couple windows outside that I have to maintain and I’d much rather use this seal the glass. Much easier

Great video on the comparison of just treatment and cleaner/ treatment. I am intrigued to try it out. I usually use turtle wax seal and shine on my glass and I like how that beads and rolls off rain and the morning dew. I wonder how they compare? 😆

Really enjoy your vids! Quick question: When you have to use your wipers do you know if you'll get streaking/smudging with this product? That used to happen to me with my Rain-X and it's why I stopped using it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Walmart in the next town over cannot keep this glass cleaner in stock. From personal experience a little bit if this goes a long way, if you add too much product and it cures to the glass it's a nightmare to remove unless you have heavy duty degreaser or a DA polisher just an FYI. Great video man. Side note I'm really like their new extreme shield line up, just did my wheels and tires earlier today and after 250 miles of driving it's still very glossy.

The Armor All sprayers are just fed any Armor All product with that sprayer has the same problem. I have used her ceramic Tire coating and I really do like it it holds up for about 3 to 4 weeks. Although it does take hours to dry

The trigger sticking on is very similar to the trigger on the latest Turtle Wax Interior Detail spray.

I liked the performance. But the trigger drove me mad. Finally after using it 3 or 4 times, it just stopped spraying. Wasn’t clogged, just no more propellant in can. Garbage. Switched to Rain X 2 in 1 glass cleaner in a spray can.

I just tried this product. It does clean well, but the sprayer shoots the product all over the window and the car panels too, so you have to do alot of wiping to clean the panels ( extra work). I will see how well it propells the water next time it rains.

I'm not a fan of this stuff for its hydrophobic. It looks good as you did it but it's not so cool when driving. I went back to Rain-X. Not sure what people are doing that get smudges but I've never had that so that seems to be user error. Try doing a half Rain-X half Armor All and then take it for a drive. Also, if you use the Rain-X cleaner/rain repellent, although it's not quite as good, it prevents bugs from getting so baked on. They come off much easier.

Armor all ceramic tire coating is good to try that I don't like the sprayer doe

Thanks for the review... One criticism: Every time you review a glass treatment product, you should also operate your wipers so we could see if it streaks or induce wiper chatter.

One nice thing about a company/product line like Armor All is that, unlike a "new" company like Ethos (i.e. - Ethos Tire Shine) or Shiney's (i.e. - Shiney's Bull Shine Glass Cleaner)....Armor All has stood the test of time and you can rest assured that if you like a product of theirs it will likely be around for a while.

It’s already in the Walmart’s in my area.

I don't know how some people's experience differ from the next but when I used that crap on my windshield "following instructions explicitly" it left a haze all over my windshield that wouldn't buff out no matter what I did. Many other people have said the same thing from Amazon, Walmart, advance auto parts, Lowes ect.. I personally wouldn't use this stuff ever again

So far no problem!

I paid $4.00 for it at Walmart on their clearance rack.

I didn't like the product the first time I used it....actually I thought it was one of the worst glass cleaners I've ever used. Not knowing that I applied it wrong the first time, the second time around combined with a hefty about of elbow grease, I found out that it's a great product at a super competitive price. 4.5/5

I don’t recall it saying it was safe. I wouldn’t use it inside anyways it’s made more for the outside to repel water.

Actually a really great product killing 2 birds with one stone. This is something I will be purchasing. That’s to bad about shineys detail I’ve probably bought 6 dozen towels from them and still have a couple unopened packs seemed like a nice little company.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing got a bottle the other day.cool no rain but overcast.mid 60,s.issues galore.splotching some streaks and did not remove bugs.i am no bonehead,i can polish ,do coatings etc point glass cleaning should not be rocket science.disapointed Wifes jeep my ram.neither windshield was bad,couple of bugs,pollen minor water spots.had to go back with DI water to get the spotting off .i,ll give it another shot but i,m not impressed.day 2 beading water pretty good ,raining all day.

@@FABAutomotiveDetailing well,day 2.thought i got all the spots off.wrong.a lot still there.even Defy Detox would not remove them.went back with stoners glass foam.still there.only option(s) left is optimum paint prep and or vinegar and or a clay bar or mitt.brutal stuff.no clue what i did wrong,maybe over applied? 🤔

I think you might have an old can cause when you think you're done and you have dribbles after words that's a sign of getting old. Do What You Do FAB. HOOF OUT!!

Yeah the sprayer does suck!

This product is absolutely horrible!!!!! I tried it 3 times. Never worked. Left tons of streaks and was hard to get product off. I took mine back. Will never use this again. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
