What might surprise PIRA people is that OIRA was far better equipped than PIRA. Until PIRA got the long range sniper rifle in the 1990s. OIRA are supposed to be still fully armed they never surrendered any arms.

I show documentary made on the conflict , they are factual not taking sides. Most are made by British media themselves. If you mean in terms of the facts presented then simply look at the last few documentary which are about Loyalism or their supporters. You may see things in one way but that doesnt make it true.

@@jimmymac7705 funny you say that because terrorists are often tyrannical also, almost every single terrorist organisation have no rule of law. So using tyranny to defeat tyranny 😆, hence why it hardly works. The North is on the trajectory to rejoin the south (if the ROI even wants that, not sure), but this would have been achieved through the rule of law, not straight up murders

You are skipping past many things my friend but I will lend some history wisdom your way. The conflict was basically the IRA fighting the British Army - the IRA's aim was to get the British army and it's government out of Northern Ireland. In 1990 the then Secretary of State for NI said and I quote "Britain has no “strategic or economic interest” in Northern Ireland and would accept the unification of Ireland should consent be forthcoming." Put simply the IRA found itself fighting the British who it seemed wanted what the IRA wanted. Talks were pushed and peace later came, the rest is history. Could all of the murders and madness been avoided if these events happened sooner - possibly though until both parties (IRA & British) realized they could not defeat one another the fighting would continue regardless. Appreciate the comments :)
