Ever since the anime came out, I loved Armin, but many others found him to be squeamish and useless, and I was like; "Dude, Armin was the one who planned that attack to take out all the 4-meter titans with guns, so that everyone can refill the gas for their ODM gear, PLUS he spoke up to defend Eren after he's turned into a Titan, he also brought up the idea that Eren as a Titan would benefit humanity, close the hole in the wall and helped Eren come to his senses when he just blacked out in his Titan form, Not to mention he saved Jean from being killed from the female titan, helped crack the case that not only was the female titan after Eren, but possibly Annie as the female titan and found out that Reiner was behind that attack as well". And that's just the first season! Like How is that a "useless" character? he may not be the manly, sexy main protagonist but Armin desrves nothing but mad respect, high praises and much love. I am sooo happy that ever since the beginning, I and so many others, stan with Armin even to this day. (*Salutes*)

They call him useless simply because he's not the fighter type. So superficial right? And he does not use his colossal titan that much as well. I just realized that some of AOT fans just like the action and not the logic behind the story.

@@ayoubzahyo agree. It's not a secret that Armin is against killing innocent people and that's why he doesn't want to use his colossal titan. Again, these "fans" only wants action. Attack on Titan is more than that. Armin has been my favorite since the beginning.

because he is not edgy like other people want, not cool, not badass. i saw people making fun on him just because he want to talk. say he is weak and useless (but eren said he is the bravest one). they are just blind and never want to understand his character. maybe they will understand, maybe they will realize it someday

@@san.6245 just as you said , keeping your weapon aside and willing to talk, is not something for the weak to do. A path of non-violence is not for the weak to take ( Not my word , Gandhi said😂😂😂) . Armin is the type who wants to calculate and explore all the situations before going all out killing people. This needs immense intelligence, mental and emotional strength. His friends saw this , but most of the fandom can't. They want to label him as a 'talk-no-jutsu' user when he only wants to speak logic and see if any other way remains. He is the most misunderstood character in AoT.

Yess!!! The 3 Armin, Eren, and Mikasa together bring me so much happiness so you could say they're my favourites too (but honestly I just adore the Levi squad, all of them are my favourites!)

I like no one ever talkd about the fact that armin got roasted alive, then fell 60 meters to the ground... and still lived, even without titan powers he's lowkey a tank

armin has lost just and much or even more than everyone else, and still he chooses to be kind and not take out his anger or get revenge.

Armin knowingly looking at his best tried in the world for the last time and without crying and sacrificing his life and dreams like that in such a brutal way. He was such a hero and definitely deserved Erwin's role when Erwin himself was reluctant.

plot twist : Armin is the main character he has been the narrator since the first episode . why do I think that army is gonna be the only survivor in the end and he will write a book about all his story in it . and what we are watching right now is just the story he wrote

I love Armin its one if my favorite characters. He's like me, Armin feels useless and feel not very courageous. In s1 when Eren was "dead" for to save Armin, Armin felt useless asf. When I saw this he made me think of me, sometimes I feel like him and that's the reason why I start to love him. I like him bc he's himself even if he's not really sure of him u know. Some ppl will never understand why some ppl loves Armin. But, for certain ppl loves him just bc he's sweet tbh it's not just for that bro.. Yeah that was hard to watch, they both gave so much, but Erwin just didn't want to go on anymore, he's more than earned his rest, so glad neither one got tossed aside.

I was exactly like Armin as a kid and still kind of am today. Seeing a character like this in an anime (it was my first time seeing a character like this in an anime) honestly made me happy because I could tell and feel what he was going through. All in all most of the Armin scenes are just really emotional for me and Armin will always be my favourite character in AOT no matter what! :)

I think he would’ve picked armin. erwin was at the end of his rope and i think he knew that (hence why he decided to go on the shiganshina mission, even though he knew he wouldnt be able to fight). i’d like to think that, when erwin batted levi’s hand away, it was because he knew that his time had come and he was ready to rest.

He would have chosen Armin. Loads of people would say different; but just as Levi was about to inject him, he swooped it away, mentally saying Armin deserves it more. Hence a few hours before he was talking about how Armin is their greatest weapon, and he’s saved everyone from disaster countless times. Erwin also knows how Armin’s strong willpower could handle humanity, and his dreams of seeing the world instead of hurting it.

@@aaaaabcdef8076 Erwin gave up his dream at the moment he convinced the soldiers to follow him to death. He always felt guilt for sacrificing his men to achieve his dream, that moment was his redemption, like Armin said at the star of the series "Only someone who can throw away what is most important to himself, can defeat the Titans", at that point Erwin threw alway his dream to defeat the Beast Titan. So i don't think he would've choosen himself over Armin because of his dream, because if he did, he would've taken a step back after the decision he himself made. AND ALSO, Erwin wanted to die, for him, living was suffering, and Levi knew that, he said it himself. And let's not forget the fact that Erwin even said thanks to Levi after he convinced him to die, that was what he wanted deep down. So i guess he would've made the same choice, he would've let Armin live,.

Others know they can fight titans so they fight. Armin knows he can't fight titans but still CHOOSE to fight. THIS is what bravery is. Celebrate your shallowness one day when you lose to whom you considered "weak". What people do is eliminating enemies by killing. What Armin does is saving the world by avoiding killing. We are now living in a world where killing is illegal, thanks to people like Armin. We are also approaching the Doom Day, thanks to people who don't understand Armin's philosophy. And people like Armin will be dragged by the ignorant and selfish majority.

Armin is my 1st fav character, he has the best character development!
