We Pakistan should open dialogue with Armenia. If Turkey can have diplomatic relations with them, it's completely non sense not to establish relations between Pakistan and Armenia because we haven't had any problem with Armenia since the creation of the both countries.

I don't think Armenia and Pakistan ever had any conflicts with each other. Turkey-Armenian relations will get better. I support territorial integrity of Turkey and Azerbaijan (tho, I despise Azerbaijani nationalists because the way they think of Armenians are completely polluted to the point where they're brainwashed).

Very different opinion of them in the United States. Sorry, but they are very heavily associated with insurance, medical and welfare fraud.

As a Pakistani, I believe we should recognize Armenia and then try to act as a mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Conflicts and wars have nothing good in store for common people. We don't have any direct conflict with Armenia and if they are expressing a desire to establish relations, we should welcome them. Maybe both countries can even become friendly due to us. How does that sound?

This guy right here is the leader material. He is correct. Pakistan have supported Azerbaijan, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be diplomatic ties between Armenia and Pakistan. Diplomatic ties does not mean "supporting" a country. I don't care if Pakistan supports Turkey or Azerbaijan. They're free to choose whoever they support. It's just common decency to establish ties with a foreign nation that you had no conflict with.

Pakistan poses a threat to Armenia because of their support to Azerbaijan and Turkey, who want to eradicate Armenia and resurrect the Ottoman Empire or something equivalent to it. Pakistan doesn’t even acknowledge Armenia as a country, and Turkey merely uses Pakistan to further its pan-turkist agenda. They don’t care about Pakistan. I say no relations should be built until Pakistan isolates itself from Turkey and Azerbaijan. Trade relations wouldn’t even be geographically feasible…most trade between the two countries would either have to pass through India (which Pakistan is enemies with) or Azerbaijan (which Armenia is enemies with). It doesn’t make sense at this time.

Let me give you the benefit of the doubt and say that what you're saying is true that Turkey and Azerbaijan want to eradicate Armenia. That cannot happen because Russia and Armenia have signed a pact agreement stating that if the territory of the Republic of Armenia is under attack, then the Russian Federation will have to respond. Let's say that doesn't work, then Armenia needs to build a modern army to make sure it can stand its own ground so show that they're not going anywhere.

@@gameexpert2011 Well Azerbaijan did march at least 10 km into Armenian territory last year at multiple points. Mind you this isn't Karabakh, it was internationally recognised Armenian territory in Gegharkunik and Syunik. I wouldn't call it fearmongering, especially as Azerbaijani textbooks now teach students to call Armenian city names by their Azeri names.

There's one problem !! Nagorno Karabagh dispute has similar nature as Kashmir dispute .. especially before 2020 .. it is still unsolved .. So Pakistan Cannot Recognize Armenia, without any permanent solution of Karabagh ,, The Reason his tone is changed about Pakistan, is because of the Lessons, they've learned from their defeat in Nagorno Karabagh War 2020

Thank you 🙏 from Armenia 🇦🇲 I urge you to research the Armenian history. Armenians are the indigenous people of Karabakh and Eastern Turkey. Go search historical maps from the Roman, Babylonian, and Byzantine empires there’s Armenia but not Azerbaijan or Turkey. Azerbaijan lies about the entire history of Karabakh and makes it seem like Armenians are aggressors. Armenia is a small, land locked country trying to survive and keep what little land we have left. Turks invaded our lands in the 10th century from Central Asia. I don’t even hate the Turkish people.

I think that if we were to open up a possibility in terms of the Armeno-Pakistani relationship to where we could at least become neutral, that could be a geopolitical victory for us. They’d see the Caucasian situation differently, could perhaps recognise us FOR our establishment of relations… Արմեն looks like he’s a lot better than the guy we used to have. Hopefully we’ll be victorious again.

Armenians have been living in Pakistan for hundreds of years. Armenian traders had a big influence on the Mughal times and Armenian and Georgian gunners fought for the Mughals against Ahmed Shah Durrani. Armenian scripts from the 17th century were also found in Balochistan. Lt Colonel Derek Joseph was a Pakistani Armenian that fought for Pakistan in the 1971 war and destroyed 7 Indian tanks. Pakistan should at least have diplomatic relations with Armenia and try to solve the problems between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

I am from pakistan yes we want good relationship with Armenia but I am sad that other side is our brotherly country azerbaijan and turkey 😔 I also feel bad for Armenia and azerbaijan I think Armenia need to past Bury like Japan and america we are human being we need to forgive 🙏 😢

Not an answer I was expecting, what an intelligent guy.

I don't think much about Armenia or any of their politics. But I agree having diplomatic relations is acceptable. We have relations with Greece despite being allied with Turkey. We have relations with Japan & South Korea despite being allied with China. So why not Armenia? Although i do not think it's financially worth having an embassy in both countries. We can still have third party representations.

It was Artsakh originally and one of the provinces of the Armenian Kingdom. Eventually it fell under the Persian Empire in the 16th century for 200 years. The Persian Azeris colonized it. The Khans changed Artsakh to Bagh meaning garden in Farsi and added Kara later becoming Karabagh a Persian word for Black Garden. It's not Azerbaijani word like Azerbaijan tells the world. It's NoT Turkic! Azerbaijani's consider themselves Turks. And Azerbaijan is also a Persian word meaning "Land of Fire". Again they hide these important facts to the world. So Karabagh was colonized by Persian Azeris for only 200 years. In 1827 Russia captured these lands.

Thank you 🙏 from Armenia 🇦🇲 I’m glad you see the real face of the Armenian people. Azerbaijan makes it seem like Armenia is an aggressive state. But in reality we’re a small landlocked country trying to survive against Turkey and Azerbaijan combined who are bigger and more powerful.

Pakistan is a country that no one should ignore, and thats why USA is not leaving Pakistan alone and don't want Imran Khan back.

A very positive and well appreciated approach. Wish to see formal diplomatic ties between the two countries based on peace n mutual respect. 👍

Infact I as a Pakistani believe Pakistan should have CLOSER ties with Armenia than Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is a full Israeli supporter… Turkey also supports Israel to a very huge extent. There is a small Kurdish community that live in Armenia. During the Soviet period, there was a sizeable Azerbaijani community in Armenia. In 1915 my grandfather’s entire family were massacred by Turkish gendarmes. Left an orphan at 2 with no identity. As a result, my surname is not even my real name.

I think the only way Armenia has a strong relations with Pakistan to stand with Kashmiri people this is sensitive issue for Pakistan .... eventhough May be in a Position either way in that sense it might disturb relation with India because it will never be acceptable by Indian however Pakistan wants independent Kashmir 🤔🤔🤔

as a pakistani, I find the relationship we have with azerbaijan extremely distasteful, especially considering the strong ties they've built with israel over the past few years. azerbaijan does not care or feel obligated to anything except their own selfish territorial ambitions and the policy of turkey. armenia, on the other hand, has remained relatively peaceful and democratic over its history in comparison to the natural gas dictatorship of aliyev. not to mention the increasingly alarming rhetoric of azerbaijanis towards iran, especially with regard to the sovereignty of iran over the south azerbaijan region. even for just the reason alone of maintaining good relations with iran, we should be much more careful in our dealings with azerbaijan

Pakistan have no bilateral problems with Armenia and we only support our friends Azerbaijan and Turkey. In some ways Karabakh and Kashmir have commonality as both population in these regions wants to join their motherlands i.e. Karabagh with Armenia and Kashmir with Pakistan.

As a Pakistani, I'm more than happy to visit Armenia someday. Such a beautiful country and great people there. I have an online friend from Armenia and he seems to be very appreciative and great at all.

No matter if Pakistan has the support of Azerbaijan or Turkiye , it doesn't really mean that Pakistan has enmity with Armenia, As a Pakistani and based on the today's condition Pakistan should consider having peace Talks and relations with Armenia( as Turkiye and Azerbaijan do have relations with Israel so I don't think our brothers have the problem)

Except isreal we must have diplomatic relation with everyone 👍

Very wise answer from our president. Pakistan's enemosity with Armenia is based on religion not common sense. It's also related to propaganda from turkey and Azerbaijan who tried to turn as many countries as possible against Armenia. Pakistan may not immediately recognize Armenian genocide, but a good diplomatic and economic relations could be a good start. There is alot of hate against Armenians from Pakistan, based on misinformation from our enemies and religious Siding. Pakistan and Armenia should be friends, because this separation between the 2 countries is not supported by direct problems between the 2.

@M Saad so far your forgen policy is to support Muslims unconditionally. That's a foreign policy for the 16th century. And you having nukes won't make you travel forward in time. A corrupt guvernment such as Azerbaijan definitely welcomed that 30 years ago and still is. Pakistan should of done only one thing, to play as mediator between 2 sides. Instead, it took the radical approach of not even recognizing Armenia, which us to say Pakistan thinks Armenia should not exist.

@M Saad terrorists also call their actions against who they call enemy as theur stance against aggression. Plus, maybe you should revisit your stance against Israel, since they support Azerbaijan with all heath and soul. If it's wrong then go all the way and join theur alliance rather than Azerbaijan ripping the benefits of two enemies. Russia also sold billions of dollars weapons to Baku. It's hipochracy that only serves hopichrits like aliev and Pakistan must avoid it if you want to do the right thing.

But Azerbaijan have strong allies like Turkey and Israel so people of Karabakh can't do anything like we can't do anything against india. Do you know about Armenian genocide? Read about that. Pakistan choose to go on extremes and take emotional approach when it comes occupied muslim terrotries like faslastine Al-aqsa and to extent i agree as well with this approach . But now we see this new trend among many muslim nations like gulf arabs chnaging their stance and taking somewhat relaxed approach like establishing ties with israel while i am against that i think there is no harm in talking and least having commuication channels .

I am Pakistani. I don't know what the problem is with our politicians and army.

Such a visionary leader respect from Pakistan , Armenian traders , Christains were among the first christains to have come to South Asia were granted permission by Mughals to built a Church in Lahore Pakistan ... We must forget the bitter past and work together Azerbijanis Armenians are great people had long common history before all the bloodshed of 19th century

Pakistan can easily recognize Armenia without accepting it's claim on Karabakh. I mean does Pakistan recognize Yerevan as "disputed territory?"

@@collinnazareth4307 First, even until recent years the name of your “made up republic” was Karabakh, a Turkic name, how it belongs to Armenia ahaha. And what a referendum it was, just exile all Azerbaijanis out of the region and make a referendum that only Armenians can vote lmao. Also, Azerbaijani constitution doesn’t give a right to any region to break away, so that referendum was illegal from the start.
