I loved Code when it first came out years ago and have kept a bottle in my collection ever since. However, I don’t grab the edt anymore. But I do love the new Parfum.

I was pleasantly surprised with this blind buy. Give it a 9 or 9.5

It's funny that you upload a video of this ; because I went into a Ulta the other day and tried both the EDT and Parfum (they were missing the EDP for me to sample). Well, let's just say I'm far in my collection journey. So I wasn't too impressed by the lack of uniqueness of this fragrance. In fact, my very first signature scent when I was growing up (Kenneth Cole : Mankind Hero) has all of these elements for a fraction of the price : it's a lavender + vanilla + aromatic-based fragrance. I would say it is missing some of the woodiness, and the citrus in Mankind Hero is lemony. Anyways back to the review. I can't speak too much on it since I really only test sampled it at the store. I will say though, something similar happened with YSL's MYSLF and I fell in love with the scent profile although it wasn't anything new. Mostly because I saw how much other people enjoyed it when I wore it around. And I know how familiar you are with MYSLF 😉😎👃🏽⛽. Perhaps if I actually got to spend some time with Armani Code, the same thing could potentially happen. I just own too many things that smell similar currently that wouldn't justify me making the purchase. But for newer people, I would say your rating is accurate & fair. Personally, I'll give to give it a generous 7. I want to give it a 6.5 given my personal collection - but I wouldn't score it based just on me, personally. So 7 it is

Brother, I have the Armani Code EDT. I’ll give it 9/10. I really loved…. ¡BUT! I was looking for the Armani Code classic One (black one). The old version, I want a smell as the EDT… but stronger, but at the same time…. Fresh woodie. Please give me a recommendations 🙏🏼 (I’m following you now) 🤝🏽 I find out that it was discontinued. So they released these new versions. Armani Code Parfum & Armani Code EDT. 🤷🏻‍♂️ (I have to try Armani Code Parfum to see the difference between EDT)

I tried this at the store. Nothing wrong with it. Still smells like a lighter fresher take on code. Great for the masses. My dad just gave me a vintage bottle of code he had and you can def tell a difference

BodMan Black body spray smells exactly like Armani code and decent performance. Surprised the hell out of me. I spray my shirts with it and i can get whiffs of it hours later. Give it a shot its worth buying and wearing together with Armani code.

is the edt fresher/can be used for all seasons vs the parfum?

Just picked up Code EDP yesterday and doing my first wearing today... I dig it. Very approachable and likeable. Clean lavender and vanilla focused, a little sweet and powdery freshness, a little woodsy and musky depth... nothing to write home about, but it seems very versatile. Dress up or down. Seems like it'd work in any weather. Absolutely office appropriate. Performance seems moderate to good - 6-8 hours, moderate sillage. I havent tried the EDT or Parfum, but EDP sounds like it's very similar to EDT.

This is my everyday scent. Not faint, yet not overpowering.

Hey does it have like a powdery type of scent with some white blossom notes? I went for testers and I have one and I’m hoping it’s this one

Always rocked the code, acqua di gio and bleu Chanel. But the problem with the code edt is that it doesn’t last long as I want it too unfortunately. Unless I just can’t smell it on me lol.

@@rottenrebels I mean, it’s still a nice scent, and very pleasant so I’d give it a 7.5 overall

I got a sample of Montabaco. Very very good. I get the feel of Terre d'Hermes but stronger. The orange gives meet both the juice and skin note. Id say this is top fresh scent IMO. A few other new decants I tried are Beso Negro. I feel this leather frag is quite good. The violet gives a cucumber like note. The wood note is very creamy.

@@rottenrebels The Montabaco with no 2nd word after. It is the 1 with mountain air, cardamom, and sage in top notes. It is very fresh clean and the orange note is not like orange juice. I did a 2nd spray of Beso. I push this into my top fresh scent category. Overall I love it. In my rotation of 10 top frags I can safely stick this in top 10. Ombre Leather is good. This is a lighter scent and aromatic with clean green note, soft woods, and leather. The cardamom is like a smooth spice to me. I would definitely say this is all occasion and very conservative. Got access to a decant of Beso ?

I really like the Valentino born in Roma intense I like fresh fragrances and also sweet fragrances but not to sweet

Fresher version of PARFUM 🥰 Both are unique, because they smell like some kind of material, interior of new car, new winter coat from Armani... 😊

@rottenrebels i did not smell it yet ordered a sample just yesterday, I've seen many reviews but wanted to see your review first if I'll buy it locally here i can only blind buy and didn't want to risk it

I think i am in the minority of people that would prefer the EDT over the the PARFUM. I currently own the PARFUM and although its a great scent, I’ve learned that i don’t really like iris as i get that powdery make up feel. But thats a me problem. The EDT however had lavender notes which i do like, might have to try that one how to see if that helps even know its weaker.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, the powderiness of Code parfum is one of the biggest differences between the two. So Code Parfum is not the best choice for someone who does not enjoy powdery in a fragrance 😊

I had an og bottle of "black code" before it was renamed. Loved it. Tried the EDP and I can't stand the baby powder smell, I had to go have a shower. I don't see what the appeal to that smell is, maybe it turns on single moms.

Hi! Code EDP has a soft leathery scent to it (just a bit, I don't consider it a 'leather' fragrance.) Both Code Parfum: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gayOtLiReMfQc5s.html and Code EDT (at least to my nose) are not leathery 😊

I LOVED armani code parfum. BUUUT I'll buy it after i graduate from grad school, have a fiance, am in my 30's, and am loved by all. THAT'S who i would imagine wearing it haha, NOT a 26 year old haha

@sirfrancis2220 A part of me feels the dry down of Code Parfum is similar to Le Male Le Parfum. The opening is entirely different. If I had to choose, I'd go with Code Parfum. Best of both worlds.

Overrated!!! I agree!! I tried it in my opinion it’s brighter and more sparkling than the old formula. The old formula is dated.

When the edt first came out it had great performance. But it has been ruined by Reformulation and Now is a shadow of it’s former self!!! IMO these fragrance companies are ripping off people. I would not pay a dollar for this. So many useless flankers. Edp parfum parfum intense elixir. What kind of game are they playing?? And they all smell the same
