Germany actually had plans to build aircraft carriers. The first project called the "Graf Zeppelin" was launched in 1939 but was never actually finished. So they could have had interests in converting large ships into carriers.

Yes, during WWII the Germans captured the incomplete hull of the De Grasse and had plans to convert her into an aircraft carrier. However, lack of supplies meant that this never happened. Blueprints for the carrier conversion are readily available in a quick Google search.

Why premium? We know that WG is gathering resources for a future German CV line, she could just go in the tree with other planned carrier converts like Gneisenau, Europa, Seydlitz and of course Graf Zeppelin's incomplete sister (since GZ has already been confirmed as a premium).

When will you add the German aircraft carrier Graff Zeppelin ??

The successor to La Gallissionere. Superior in every way, but somehow fit into the same tier. Thanks to making a good ship in testing garbage.

I'm still kind of sour that the De Grasse isn't the 127mm bristling AA cruiser she ended up in real life. I hope we'll see that configuration in the Colbert, which is still alive today, albeit awaiting disposal after failed attempts to turn her into a museum ship.

Even more guns than Atlanta or Flint for that matter; De Grasse & Colbert also possessed 57mm/60 caliber Mle 1950 which completely out-classes the 40mm Bofors. If Colbert makes it into WoWs, she would have AA capabilities that would make a Des Moines or Minotaur blush.

Colbert has a longer and more notable career than De Grasse as an AA cruiser, as well as better arrangement of the main guns. I'd honestly rather have her as the French Atlanta.

Damn good cruiser, Prefer to La Gallssionnere. Superior to any earlier french cruisers.

"no one wanted" uh, ok? I'm pretty sure I've remembered people talking about this ship as a possible premium forever. Also, you've gotten RN cruisers, RN BBs are on the way, and a RN DD is on the way as well. You also got a Italian cruiser. You really like complaining

I don't remember ever hearing someone talk about this ship, but literally thousands of people have asked for the Alaska. For every one person that wanted this french thing, 500 want the Alaska. Also I think instead of adding in the premiums now, they should add entire lines, then add premiums so we don't have to wait 6 months for a new line.

Well the Alaska weighs about the same as the Moskva, but had more AA guns, bigger guns, more armor, and was about 30 feet shorter. Plus since WG are to lazy to model penetration off of shell speed and weight, and simply go off of size "Looking at you american 16" super heavy shells that should have the same penetration as the yamato" The Alaska will struggle at whatever tier it gets put at since its guns were amazing IRL, but would suck in game just like the Scharnhorst. If WG would stop being lazy and update their game to have more realistic penetration peramiters the Alaska would be the best cruiser in the game, even beating out the british 16" shells at range.

They are not clocks, they are used to inform the distance of the targets to the other ships, so even if a ship can not see the target they can concentrate the shots in a single place.
