ARmA15 Installed in Truck under Rear Seat AR15 M4 Locking Mount F150

We walk you through an install of an ARmA15 into a Ford f150 pickup truck same method was used in a chevy and GMC trucks. We also sell a Rivnut kit with support bar that makes the install go much faster and easier than in this video, and can be used in any car, suv or truck. See our other videos using our rivnut kit. Can also be installed in single cab trucks as well using rivnut kit. Check all this out on arma15.com
• ARma15 AR15 vehicle mo...
See our rivnut video as we found after this video that the process with rivnuts is much easier and faster than using standard bolt/nuts.

Thankyou, Unfortunately the odds are stacked against the victim in Europe. We are however able to protect ourselves in our own homes in the UK, If we are confronted by an intruder we are allowed to respond with reasonable force. However, on the streets or in our vehicles is a different matter. Thanks again for the reply and good luck with your channel, Informative and Entertaining.

As a fellow european I know the problem. I will however say that if it comes a time when I or my family is threatened I will defend myself and them using all tools available to me, including the tonnage and speed of my vehicle. Wether the law allows me to do so will be something I worry about after my family is safe.

How was it an offensive weapon? Was there naked ugly people on it? Did it have off colored jokes etched into it. I have never seen a cricket bat so is it shaped like a penis? Was there a picture of topless hillary on it? Why exactly did that officer deem that bat offensive?

That is so dumb. Do you really need an assault weapon to protect yourself in USA (not Siria, USA)? If you were attacked by an armed group(the only reason to carry that kind of weapon instead of a simple gun; by the time you fold the seat and unlock the weapon you are already dead. Some people in USA take zombie movies too seriously.

If you mark the hole locations in your backplate after you drill the 1/8" holes and before you drill them to full size, all the holes will line up more accurately. It's not easy to find the exact center of the full size holes with a much smaller diameter punch. Doesn't look like it was an issue for you in this video but for anyone trying this, it could misalign and be a real pain. Good video and good idea. Thanks

After watching your vid I took the weapon and a tape and spent an hour measuring and trying to find a place where I could do that. If I still ave my old 1999 Cherokee there was a great place under the back seat that I used all the time. The Grand Cherokee just has no room to spare. If you go to www.flickr.com and use rickd248 as a search word for me, you can see the weapons I carry for my "Jeep Guns". One is a .303 rebuilt Enfiled. Thanks for all the ideas.

Inside the back seat it has metal plate like the one in the video but on the back part not under the seat. Look at the second picture at this link. That is inside a trail blazer. I would check under your upholstery but we made a video for the trail blazer as well just have yet to edit and upload. arma15.com/component/hikashop/product/3-universal-rivnut-mount?Itemid=0

If you have the crew cab truck with the larger rear seats you can install 2 of those mounts up under the seat if you invert one of them and I used thicker 3/16" or 5mm x 3" or 75mm metal for the seat mounting brackets. With the seats down thise rifles are hidden. You would have to get down on your hands and knees to see them under there.

Bolt Lock. You look up year make model and you get a blank key. Put your truck key in it, turn a full turn or half turn or 3/4 or something like that and it "learns" your truck's key. You won't fumble around for that big truck key especially with that big fob or in my case just a transponder. bolt lock also makes very good locks and you won't loose it because it is your truck's key.

You can see the barrel at 16:48. The storage compartment under seat is to small and shallow for decent storage. For $80 you can get a storage box that fits perfectly under your seat, concealing both the weapon and storing anything else that goes with it.

  • @Arma15

    @Arma15

+Brian Healy At 16:48 I purposely put the camera low to show the rifle is there. Unless your at a full squat or 7 years old you wont see anything, and even then it was only the tip of the muzzle brake. The stock box worked perfectly for storing mags, the current owner uses it that way. You can add a box under but it isnt 100 % needed. The only time you can see it is when you have seat folded up. If its down in normal mode you cant see anything, just hate to see ya waste money if you dont need to. Try it stock if your not happy then add box, but I doubt you will once you see it in real life.

No grease needed ever powder coated so no where to rust. Springs are strong enough to never require any lubrication.

I prefer putting it in the back seat and folding it up. It holds the rifle in place. And, it is free. And, faster to get too.

+911LexVegas That works as long as no one gets access to your vehicle. Concealing it could be as easy as having a jacket or towel over the rifle with it sitting on the seat next to you. This is to add some security when your not in vehicle but when you are in vehicle you can have it sitting in your lap if you wish. :-)

In the law it has an exception if its locked up. I found This is from NC state police, concerning transportation of firearms page 22. Therefore, care must be exercised by any occupant of any vehicle to ensure that weapons are securely locked away in as remote an area as possible, in relation to the passenger compartment of the vehicle. It is important to emphasize that these prohibitions apply to passengers, as well as drivers of any vehicle.

+William Tarr I have sold a few to Canada, so there must be some there. We also have some states that are heavily regulated, but even in those most will allow you to have your rifle locked and unloaded. As always obey local laws!

Even better use a AR Pistol with a 7.5 inch barrel and a sig brace of which I have and love it. Big flash and boom can be cut way down if you mount a Flaming Pig can on the end of the barrel. Out to 100 yards it will group at 4 to 5 inches with my Vortex red dot

It stinks to high heaven, but I've had good luck getting clean holes through carpeting with a piece of 3/8 stainless round stock, and sometimes a screwdriver, warmed up with a propane torch, just pushes right through, no fraying, no' oops, I sliced the carpet' moments. Just use your head, you only need to warm the dowell, or screwdriver up enough to start to see a bit of discoloration.
